Just celebrated my dad’s birthday at Tom’s shop in Lisle. We made some last minute changes (forgot about not eating meat on Fridays in Lent when we booked this over a month ago), and Tom, the owner, was accommodating and gracious. There were appetizers waiting for us when we got there, which were scrumptious! Then we made pasta from scratch. It was a lot of work but so much fun! Everyone, even the kids, had a great time. We did a private cooking class here with another couple. It was such a great experience! The class we did was Italian Second courses and we had the chance to try some wonderful new recipes. But, more importantly Tom showed us some really great techniques and how to be flexible with our cooking and not have to stay with a recipe. We learned a lot and had a wonderful time doing so! My family used this awesome chef to prepare our Easter brunch. He came to my home a hour before the event and had everything laid out and ready to go.
My guest were able to be served by an excellent chef with made to order omelets and freshly made waffles and 16 other brunch items. My guests were speechless on how delicious the food tasted. After the event he cleaned the kitchen and wrapped up all the leftover food.
Do not hesitate in calling Chef Tom to plan your next catering event. He is easy to work with and very reasonably priced.
