I'm a fan of bacon-egg-cheese sandwiches, and the Market's is the hands-down best. You'll wait for your made-to-order dish, but we'll worth the wait. Garage door cafe with patio lends to a come-as-you-are atmosphere. Thanks for reading this hyphen-laden review. More...

Like an oasis on the 9W. I don't ride bike but my family go to the mountains nearby and its a great place to get some drink and food on the way back. somewhat overpriced but I guess it's the location. More...

Every time we go hiking upstate from NYC, we'd stop by this place to get a meal. It's expensive but the quality is decent.

9W Market consistently over cooks their protein (fish, poultry, etc.). Otherwise they do a very good job.

Gourmet level market and very expensive considering no wait service. If you're gonna charge these prices let me sit and order!

It's a nice place. Good selection. The outside kitchen does burgers and hot dogs. And that's where I had an issue as a former restaurateur. Your making burgers, the people on line are ordering burgers. The younger guy on the grill probably shouldn't be on the grill. He (on 2 visits) was only doing 1 ticket at a time ,telling the young lady working the counter he likes to keep things in order. An older, obviously experienced guy came back to check on things and immediately put about a dozen burgers on and then the crowd that had formed was served. The staff inside was very nice and the food there was great. More...

I love that this place exists. An oasis on the 9W bike ride, a must stop place if you're out doing a long ride. Always packed with other cyclists, and bikers you know the food and coffee must be good.

I haven't been to the area yet, as I live in Italy 24/7, but I would love to visit Snedens Landing; it seems like such a Romantic spot.

Well, my particular experience with 9W Market is based on a specific niche, that being motorcycles. This place hosts a Bikes And Breakfast gathering the first Sunday of every month and motorcyclists from all over the Tri-State Area drop in to show off their bikes, chat up old friends, find new riding partners, etc. This past Sunday was my first visit and it did not disappoint. Freakin BILL MURRAY... yeah, you know.. Ghostbusters, etc?... showed up for about 30 minutes and wandered around chatting with bikers. Hot damn! Lots of awesome vintage BMWs, a couple Moto Guzzis, and totally friendly people. I went inside to grab and iced cappuccino and an absolutely perfect Dulce De Leche donut. The place was mobbed but the staff handled everything with poise and ease. Great selection of pastries and other breakfast items, extensive coffee/espresso menu, and plenty of different treats which, if the donut was any proof, are most likely amazing. There's a sign out front that claims they have the best burger in NY... 9am is bit early for a burger for me but I'm intrigued. I'm thinking of a mid week evening trip out there to see if they can put their money where their mouth is. Undoubtedly I'll be going back every first Sunday of every month, but I can tell you, ignoring the motorcycles, this looks like, feels like and tastes like the perfect mom and pop run roadside eatery that towns up and down the Hudson are famous for. I can't imagine a misstep in anything here, but I haven't given it the full focus yet. More...

This was recommended to us by a local photographer we ran into. Very unique idea and very fresh eating. Loved the diverse choices, not just the usual old menu. There is a glass large deli style counter that displays a lot of what they have to offer. Oh, and everything my wife and I chose was amazing. Friendly service to top it all off. This all explains why there was very little parking left. More...
