We provide in-person and remote small-group tutoring to help students succeed in school. This includes helping students from K through high school and we can also help college students in some subjects. We also have experienced tutors who help students reach their maximum SAT/ACT scores.

What do you love most about your job?
It is most exciting to us when we have a student that gets math, English/language arts, science, or SAT/ACT after a few tutoring sessions with us. Covid-19 has been tough on students and we are happy to be able to tutor in-person as well as on-line depending on the need of the parents and students.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We wanted to have a positive impact on children and were looking for a way to do so. My wife had home schooled our children and so decided to continue educating students with our own tutoring business and this is how we got started with the Texas Tutor Team.
Why should our clients choose you?
First, this is our 5th year in the business and we are a local business over the northwest Houston area. We have developed a team of tutors so that we can match up the best option for each student depending on the age and subject need(s) for a student. Also, we tutor remotely and in-person so we can meet the current needs of parents and students during Covid-19.

Yes we do. Our tutors are experienced with Zoom and other on-line applications to meet the needs of our students.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We ask our tutors to follow the CDC guidelines including washing hands and wearing masks when tutoring at a student's home. We will take further precautions if a parent would like such having a tutor work with a student in an area of the house close to the front door.
Tutoring Services
We help students from K-college with math, English/language arts, science, and SAT/ACT test prep. We help with homework but also have our own materials to help with reading and math as needed. We also provide a free on-line assessment for math and reading to determine any skill gaps that a child may have. Thank you.
