We found Ted Berry Tuxedos by visiting the Wedding Expo and we're glad we did! The level of service and attention to detail we received from Arina and her team, far exceeded our expectations and that which we would have gotten from a website. Other Box Box retailers didn't even carry sizes to try on or samples to look at. So much better than the warehouse setting. This shop owner was so nice and accommodating. I rented a tux here for the first time for my son's prom. He's an athlete and runs a pretty crazy schedule. We were stuck in traffic getting there and she stayed late knowing we were on our way, by the time we arrived, she already had several looks pulled to meet the theme of his event as I had previously mentioned it on the phone. She took into account the age and body type...everything. The customer service definitely exceeded my expectations and the selection did as well. The pricing was competitive, alterations were perfect, tux was ready on time, and they were flexible on the return due to his athletic schedule. I really couldn't ask for more. He looked incredible. Ted Barry has a great selection on site and will also do alterations on site. Unfortunately, when my dad went to get the tux, he got the wrong one. Also, the groom's jacket was a little tight (he probably should have said something). But then again, men never care about the details. This is a local mom and pop establishment. Ted and his wife Carol are on premises and attend to your every need. They are gentle, kind and wonderfully knowledgeable on how good you can look in formal wear!  Ted and Carol made me feel great when I came into their store and they stayed late(45 minutes after closing) to finish the job. Ted and Carol are the consummate professionals. Our party had 9 tuxedos, 7 of which were measured "out of town". The suits were available on time, and minor adjustments (due to others measuring) were handled swiftly and professionally. I must say, we all looked great (but not as great as the bride !!) The only quibble, and its VERY minor, is that there are no returns on Sunday, but hey, everyone deserves a day off !!!
There is a bonus involved, the rentals were less expensive than the chain stores, the service was better, and Ted and Carol offered the choice of Limo service or free rental for the groom... ! More...

I have to give Mr. Barry and Staff a 5 Star but wish I could give a 10 Star. When I walked into his store for the first time I knew we were at the best place to get a Tuxedo by the aroma (A Clothes Steamer). That let me know he takes good care of his customers and suits with great care. Not to mention he seem to love his job and aimed to please his customers. We went to pick up my tuxedo and decided to change the vest and tie and not know he would have it. He just replied, yes I could do that. My wife was very pleased and thought I was the best dressed at my daughter's wedding. All the young men was equally handsome.
I endorse this wonderful person and his shop as my wife insist me saying (wonderful) but I too felt good in my suit and agree.

I got married in Dec 20 2014 and my husband got his tuxedos here for all the groomsmen and himself .......AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM BEGINNING TO END ! !
Ted Barry made us feel welcomed and showed so much interest in getting the guys measured and fitted. we were comfortable. some of the groomsmen were all over NY, Orlando and Pennsylvania but he explained to us how to get the standard tuxedo measurements done and telephoned them in according to the chart he gave us. WEDDING DAY my hubby and the guys had on the most perfect fit and style tuxedos. Amazing people to do business with. They even gave us a free gift! ....my hubby' tux was free !! #happy customers#. We travelled 35 minutes one way to Deerfield beach from where we lived and it was well worth it !!

I'm sitting in Ted's store on Saturday morning while he Taylors a great looking Tux for a Saturday evening event that we were invited to at the last minute. There's a night & day difference when comparing them to other shops (Jos A Banks hint hint...) who barely payed any attention to us when my fiance and I visited with them about renting tux's.

Ted Barry did a great job with the tuxedos for our wedding. Our groomsmen all looked very sharp! We had groomsmen from all over the country and he made the process of sending in measurements "seamless", which made us feel at ease. None of them had any issues. The only drawback I would mention is that they are closed on Sunday, so make sure to include a plan to return the tuxedos on Monday. More...

As father of the bride, I was "responsible" for three tuxedos. I was governed by my wife's and daughter's taste in colors and styles. Ted Barry has a wide spectrum of colors of vests (and accessories), and a couple choices of jacket and trouser colors and trims. Indeed, the ladies had trouble deciding which shade of green (the groom's Irish) to pick (they even have a few "unusual" colors you wouldn't be caught dead in).

Carol was a wealth of information and suggestions – that's one really knowledgeable lady! Ted did the measuring, but Carol was there looking over his shoulder (so to speak), making suggestions. We really appreciated her suggestions.

My daughter even went back AFTER we placed the order, and changed some of the colors. No big deal for Carol. Changes made with a smile.

I would note that in most shades they have bow ties and pre-tied ties (unfortunately, no tie-it-yourself ties, which I prefer). I wanted a bow tie, but it wasn't available in the shade the ladies picked. Nothing to lose sleep over.

Several other customers were present while we were – she handled them all with courtesy and efficiency. I was impressed with her ability to relate to her customers. Indeed the negative reviews I have read seem totally inconsistent with our experience.

They have business hours, and it's unreasonable to expect a business to open up outside those. Yet Carol stayed a little bit late when we picked up our tuxes, just to be sure we were happy.

They expect everything to be returned the first business day after the wedding. That's fair. They have to recycle everything for new customers, and we really had no need for them after the wedding.

I gave them top rating in all categories, but I'd add a 6th star for service, primarily because Carolyn was so gracious and helpful.
