I've had Laura prepare two different dinners for two special events and I couldn't be more satisfied. She's terrific to work with, from suggesting menus to allowing for allergies and general quirks to the actual preparation and service of the meal. We all loved her food as well as her mood. At the first dinner, one of the guests was unexpected delayed by an hour and she was still able to serve the meal an hour later in perfect condition and with a completely easygoing manner about the delay. What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my work is witnessing the confidence my clients gain from their cooking lessons!
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a teacher turned chef, I wanted to marry my two passions of food and education into one and inspire others to cook more, shop less and waste nothing.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am a thoughtful chef instructor. I prepare cooking lessons to meet the needs of my clients and consider how the student will learn best and feel challenged and accomplished with what they have created.

Currently, all Teaching Table services are being offered remotely. We offer private cooking lessons, at home cooking parties for remote groups (6-50 email addresses/households) and a range of workshops updated monthly (see www.teachingtable.net/events)
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We only offer remote/virtual services and are not seeing any customers in person or visiting any homes.
