Dave's the best coach.
I've worked with Him for months.
I train with Him two days a week and I've noticed a big change in 6 months.
He is well informed of skills and nutrition and listens to what my needs are based on my strengths and weaknesses. Most important is He Loves His job. He knows what He's doing.

I have been with tbtp for over a year. Not only is David wonderful at what he does, but makes me smile while I feel I want to give up. Training with him is one of the best things I have done for myself in years. When I broke my wrist last year, he help me with my pt. Alot better then the physical therapy place I was going to. I've known David for a few years and I always thought he was a nice guy. However, soon after I started working out with him, I realized how mean he is lol. He started checking my nutrition, motivating through my workouts, and designed a cardio program. Signing up with TBTP is one of the best decisions I could have made. I've had trainers in the past, but none have the attention to detail the way David does. Everything from the actual working out to the nutrition. He even helped me with a gout issue! I've only been here for a month, but I already feel a difference. I'm getting past the initial workout pain and I feel better throughout the day. No more afternoon crash. I signed up for boxing training, but David saw some issues he had to address first, not just rushing through the process. That resulted in less headaches (which was a major problem for me) and feeling less stressed out during the day, as I have a very stressful job. I repeat myself, but this is the best decision I could have made for my own health and well being. To whom it may concern, I began working out with TBTP a few months ago. I was fearful at first because of my previous injuries/limitations. Plus, the name Train Beyond The Pain sounded a little intimidating to me. I’m a 64 year old lady trying to just get myself moving since my doctor said I was losing bone density and muscle. When I met David, I went over all my concerns, and he was so accommodating during my Fitness Assessment. I even felt way better once I had finished my session with him. After 2 months of following my TBTP program, it's been a huge 180! My shoulders are no longer in pain (which I had been dealing with for over 4 years) and my wrists no longer hurt. David is great at keeping me accountable and sends me reminders throughout the week to follow my program (ice, stretch, do cardio, etc), which really helps me. Personal Trainers

I'm going on 3 weeks into the TBTP Bootcamp training and I'm really enjoying it! I love that it's online because I have the luxury to workout at home right after work! Plus, David delivers so much energy it's easy to get pumped for the workouts. I had my first physical therapy session with David on September 23rd and he has greatly improved my life since I started training. I'm 85 and I have been sitting on my chair in front of my computer for the last 21 years. Over time, I've developed a serious posture problem and I couldn't walk more than a few steps without using my walker. I've been doing 2 - 30 minute sessions per week and with amazement my posture has improved greatly. I can now walk (standing 85% upright), go anywhere I want without any back pain, and I don't use the walker anymore.

My general health is continuously improving, and I haven't felt this good in over 20 years!!! David has been very helpful and has given me several exercises (some using a yoga mat) that I practice daily which continues to improve my posture and overall health. Thanks to TBTP, I'll be able to work on my Reverse Mortgage business for more years to come. Plus, I plan to use David's physical therapy sessions on a permanent basis!

Personal Trainers

For so long I kept fighting the idea of having a personal trainer. I thought I could get it done but with my busy schedule and no motivation to workout, it was a complete failure. Thankfully, I found TBTP and started training with David. His workouts are amazing, 5 stars all the way! I have reawakened muscles I forgot I had and seeing really nice muscle tone. Do yourself a favor and start the TBTP Program! Since I began working out here, I’ve seen great improvement in my walking and less pain in my back. David came highly recommended by a friend and yet he still took the time to answer all my questions until I had a full understanding. At age 68, I’m happy to just be walking around again. He was able to combine a Physical Therapy program with my training routine, and it’s been able to reduce my back pain which was injured during a fall years ago. Personal Trainers

David is excellent! I have nothing but great things to say about my training with him. He may say it is "leg day" or that we are working on conditioning on a particular day, but I always leave feeling like it has been a full body workout (which it was! ) He pushes me and changes training to accommodate needs. I love having David as my trainer! He’s always so upbeat, motivating, knowledgeable and encouraging. Overall, he puts you in a great mood to work out. Plus, he knows I am a talker, so he’s always a good conversation while I work out - that personally helps me because time goes by faster for me. The TBTP FIT community is also excellent, although I haven’t met anyone in person. I am still grateful for them. Many have switched session times with me in the past weeks because of my time conflicts without an issue.

Definitely recommend and encourage everyone to work out with David. You won’t be disappointed. He measures your results (which I saw within four weeks) and goals. He’s on top of your workouts in the 1:1 gym. The cardio you do on your own time, plus he creates separate workouts for you if you want to put in more work (I highly recommend), and tracks your diet through MyFitnessPal (free, unless you want the premium plan) and also recommends supplements, when appropriate.

Starting to train with David was the best decision I made for MYSELF this year. I can’t wait for future results. He’s the best!

I was doubtful at first about starting the 35 minute workouts, thinking it wouldn't be enough. On top of that, it's online from home so I wasn't too confident this would work. However, I have to say WOW! David knows how to pack a punch on every session. There is no wasting time with him, he keeps a close eye on his stopwatch. Plus, he has my exercises ready before we start so I'm able to get an amazing workout within that time frame. With the fitness program he put together for me I'm losing weight and feeling great!

So glad TBTP FIT is apart of my life. Feels like I have awaken from a deep sleep. David gave my husband and I everything we asked for in a trainer. He motivated us. He definitely challenged us, and overall made us feel better. Stronger. His nutrition plan helps to keep me on track and its not hard to commit to. He always comes up with different exercises to keep me challenged. Im starting to wear clothes I haven't worn in a couple of years. David is a highly motivating, encourgaging, patient trainer. He takes time to review my food logs, personalize my workouts. He truly cares for his athletes fitness goals and is dedicated to helping them achieve them.enough nice stuff... David will push you hard, I mean really hard. Always with a silly smile however. Since I have been working out with david, I have gotten stronger , leaner, toned and more energy.
Not kidding about the fact he will kick your rear end into shape, like I said he will push you hard. He is tough. So worth all the sweat ,sore muscles, etc. Make sure your ice maker is working, you will need😁 all that aside David is an amazing, great trainer💪💪

I gained 10 lbs. each baby and had 3 of them back to back. I tried working out and eating healthy on my own but I would only use a few pounds and it was so hard to keep them off. Then I found David! I have lost 15 lbs in 2 months, kept it off, and I'm still going! He is the most motivating trainer I've ever had he genuinely cares about his clients.... which makes him priceless. At 71 years old, I thought I had to give up playing in my senior basketball league. My knee was bad (from a previous surgery) and I couldn't extend it anymore. It was difficult to run up and down the court. However, after 8 months of physical therapy with David, I was able to regain 85% of my flexibility. I highly recommend training with him! It was exciting to see my performance improve and be back on the team by the following season.

David does amazing work! He was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for our Jr College basketball team. He took an average team and turned them into Champions by working long hours and designed fitness programs around my playbook. He’s extremely creative in developing workouts which prepared my basketball team for the high demands of the game. By mid-season, our team was in such great shape that it made other teams look like amateurs when they played against us. After a season of having him on our staff we won our first PCAC Championship. I have been a long time Pilates fan but when my studio closed due to Covid, I like many other people, stopped exercising, and started carb loading. Nine months of that regiment put me about 15 pounds over my comfortable weight not to mention delivering a major blow to my self-esteem. I finally decided that I had to do something to get myself out of the dumps. That is when I met David through my son, Alexander (see his review below).
“You should just try it, he is really a nice guy and will work with you if you don’t have equipment.”, said Alexander. So, I did and was very pleasantly surprised. David set up a fitness assessment to see where I was in my physical abilities. He asked about injuries and/or health issues (I have had back surgery). He asked what my fitness goals were. I told him: I wanted to lose the Covid weight, get stronger and be able to do a pull up before I die!
We talked about nutrition, UHG! And he explained that I would be writing down everything I eat and sending in my food log once a week, Double UHG!!!! I said “OK” and we started working together. That was three months ago. I have not had to get a bunch of equipment for our work outs and I have dropped fat and developed lean muscle. I am eating what I want but am making healthier choices (with David’s help). I still eat carbs, but my eating sweets at night in front of the TV has stopped.
I am having fun working out with David even if it sometimes sucks doing it. David has a great vibe and is super motivating and laughs at my “pain” and snarky remarks. But the thing I really appreciate is that I do not feel shamed for what I eat or if I struggle doing an exercise/workout. These things are very important to me and will keep me coming back every week to work out!!!!

David is the best trainer I have ever had! I used to jump around from trainer to trainer in the past because they either stopped working at my local gym (or they would switch to other gyms). I was hesitant at first about online training, but for the last 4+ years David has been consistent and is great at keeping me accountable. He is so passionate about health and fitness that sometimes I feel like he takes my training more serious than I do, hehe. What I enjoy the most about him is he makes workouts fun and motivates me when I don’t feel like working out. He’s also a good listener and pays close attention to any muscle soreness I may be experiencing. His stretching routines are top notch and have been awesome at keeping me injury free. I have trained with David doing online workouts for more than a year, and I have seen significant improvements in my cardiovascular health, strength, and mental resilience. Over the months, he has ramped up the intensity of the workouts to keep challenging my body and attain the fitness goals I had provided in our first session together. For example, I have lost over 30 pounds of fat and replaced it with 20 pounds of muscle over the last year, while only training twice per week.
