Taverna Rossa

So, I've been in several times. Once was just apps and drinks with some real estate colleagues. A couple times for lunch and once for dinner. I've tried several of the pizzas and haven't found one I dislike. I'm also in love with the grilled chicken chapaelle. The nutty grape salad is so delicious. The staff is always GREAT. My only complaint is that I've always been so full that I haven't been able to.try the desserts. The ingredients are so fresh and full of flavor. I feel the value is excellent. Yes, you can find cheaper pizza, but you certainly won't find the inventive flavor combos and fresh homemade deliciousness! I hope they never cut corners and stay as wonderful as they are! More...

We were visiting from Raleigh, NC and I am so glad we stumbled upon Taverna Rossa! This place was fresh farm to table food. Our server Holly went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and just gave us some of her time to talk, even though things were busy (Friday night). The pizza was light and crispy and fresh. The live band played amazing and even gave us a shout out as we left. Definitely the go to spot!!! More...

Great food. Great service. Great entertainment. Friendly atmosphere... It has been nice to be able to talk to other patrons who are thoroughly enjoying the music. Just need seat cushions.

Good food and service. Only challenge was the music volume ( there was no band playing at this time ). It was so loud that it was difficult to hold a conversation when I first arrived. Fortunately, they turned it down.

Incredibly tasty food. There are amazing gluten free options here and incredible people. I ate dinner here because my husband is at the heart hospital down the street and I needed a bit of a break. Love coming here on Friday nights when they have live music. The ambiance is laid back, drinks are good, each pizza has it's own twist. Just be mindful of the wait times, you will wait about an hour on a busy night. But grab a drink and relax, the good is worth it! Pizza with a twist! Although they DO have the regular pizza options, I’d suggest something on their menu that’s a little more out of your comfort zone. Chances are, you’ll be glad you tried it. T.R. has a great beer and whiskey selection, as well as a patio and laid back atmosphere.

For a place that I have never tried the pizza and probably should, all the other food is just as amazing! Rotating cheese board is always a delightful surprise. Today, I was introduced to the Nutty Grape salad. Perfect blend of flavors with prosciutto, goat cheese, pistachio, and grapes on mixed greens and recommended by my server, Angelica. The food is pretty good and they have some decent beer offerings. I typically get the Bees Knees pizza - and this might be strange to recommend at an Italian restaurant but the queso with Frito scoops is amazing.

Came here after a long day of work to see some of my buddies play on a Friday night and even though it was kinda late, I still enjoyed the environment as my time here. The people seemed pretty cool and my buddies seemed to appreciate the guys that worked here as well, after all they’ve done.

Great atmosphere, cool place to hang out, grab some food and a cold one, and listen to some live music. If y’all have friends, even better times! That’s for sure! Great time hanging out tonight. Easily.

Started off with a Rossa Rita and the Speakeasy to drink. The Rossa Rita was a little sweet for me. The Speakeasy was essentially an old fashioned. Very smooth and prepared with care by the bartender. We shared an order of queso and a pretzel at the table. Both were absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend these appetizers. I love this restaurant! Great atmosphere indoors and an amazing covered patio. Wonderful food. So many good things on the menu. . I would recommend Panko shrimp as an appetizer and pizza.
