This place is really lovely. When my 5 year old and I took a quick stop in Wenatchee for some food I pulled up my Yelp app and couldn't tell if this place was kid friendly but after popping my head in I was delighted to find out they are! I ordered the cheese plate and my son had a mini pizza. I originally ordered one of their small 10inch pizzas, but the sweet waitress mentioned that they could make a pita pizza, which would be smaller and less expensive, even though it wasn't offered on the menu. I really appreciated this extra step she took to save me a few bucks on my kiddos meal. The ambiance is lively and people genuinely seem happy to be here. The table next to me ordered the fondue, and I hate them for this because I immediately had food envy and couldn't consume my cheese plate. Went here for my first time to have my sisters 40th birthday. We even made a reservation ahead of time, it was a Friday night and they were busy but the table being saved for our others in the party was given away. Went on a date night with my husband here this evening. Super cute, cozy, and perfect for a date night. We shared the salmon and also a gluten free pizza. It was the best food we have had locally in a very long time, and such good portions. Really good gluten free crust, with lots of toppings (best part)! Great dinner last night: Grilled Chicken Avocado cooked to perfection, deliciously yummy and the salmon was equally good. Was thrilled with the fresh veggie medley (thankful it wasn’t another side of green beans !) Growing up in Wenatchee Tastebuds was always just the wine and beer place. I was pleasantly surprised that I could get a nice dinner at this location as well. My friends spoke well of the fondue starter and I ended up getting the nachos with homemade queso. It was delicious. The orders from our group included Salmon with dill butter and veggies, more fondue, the dip dip sandwich that came with both au jus and fondue to dip it in, the steak primavera and the last order which they messed up the chicken pesto. (They ordered pasta and it came in pizza form.)We all got drinks and since it was hh our server forgot to make note and apply it to our bill. Getting the bills squared away was a 15 min process kind of annoying considering we told him we were in a hurry to go to another function. In the end it all worked out. I was hoping the server would own up to his mistake by taking my friends food off of the tab because it was his mistake. They had them pay full price for something they didn't want. Tastebuds is great! Great romantic yet casual atmosphere, diverse menu and all the food is delicious! (Try the clams) The portions aren't huge and it is a tad overpriced for the average joe like myself but overall a nice place to go to catch up with a friend or a romantic night out.

I used to work right across the street from here years ago but had never checked it out until last night. I would say overall I had a pretty good experience, I even made it for happy hour which was great! ($3 off beer!) I would say the only thing was that it was a little stuffy, bit too hot inside for me. And the servers were super frantic, but I understand it was a little busy and they seemed short a person or two, so no biggy. I'd definitely stop by again for happy hour! More...

Would give 5 stars to the staff: I dare you to find any folks more committed to providing a worthwhile experience. However I like my steak medium rare and, since my steak is consistently overcooked, I can only give a 4 star review. So happy to find fabulous food that's made on site versus a chain kitchen. Had the fondue starter, table loved it! Also ordered were a tuna melt, a salad and tomato basil soup with grilled cheese and fresh tomato. All meals happily consumed with half taken home. This is a great selection of tasty choices and delicious entrées from fish to hoof to fowl. Your taste buds will receive a variety of flavors. there are many choices including specials along with an array of regional beer taps and wine selections. I would give 5 stars on any other day, but this time I reserved an area and the guy helping me had no idea that I had reserved it, and told me. .. I could sit anywhere else... Furthermore, when I wanted to sit in the patio he said it's reserved at 6, the entire patio. Needless to say I was flustered due to giving them ample time to do what they just did to me!Anyway, the food is great, can't go wrong with wine and cheese and jazz.
