We will be going back to this place soon, for the food, the decor, the view, and the staff! They have some beautiful, authentic Mexican decor which we love and it reminded us of our years living in South Texas and Mexico. You can see the boats on the intracoastal waterway and that's always a treat for us. I recommend the rice bowl with grilled shrimp. I ordered the Roasted Cauliflower Tacos and it's pretty good. I was a little worried it was gonna be nasty. It wasn't !! ! Vegetarian options are on deck at this place for sure, I saw other options on the menu that I thought may not dissappoint. I came by myself on Valentine ( Self Love whoop whoop, lol ) and she gave me the most closed off covid free area ...because I hate eating in public at this moment. I didn't want to be around anyone...OMG she came through. No one was behind me, in front of me or next to me , PERFECT !!! Even my waiter kept her distance from me..Thank you so much!!! Hands down one the if not the best modern American Mexican cantinas I've ever been to. Friendly service from the start and straight through. From the receptionist who greeted us kindly and warmly who offered a booth for us to our amazing server Tatum and 4 dollar margs What else can you ask for. I came with my mother and we ordered the trio dips with the street corn. The guac queso and pick de Gaio were delicious and fresh and the chips were thin and crunchy and delicious. For our entree my mother ordered the fried avocado taco and I ordered the carne Asada , grilled Mahi mahi , grilled shrimp and grilled chicken taco. And even though I was full I could not help but to INHALE every single taco. Absolutely delicious , positively fresh. And mind you by the time we got our food I was on marg number 3 , not because we were waiting but because the servers were ON POINT. My drink was empty for less than 60 seconds and they were over asking if I wanted another. That's service. That's quality service. I'm not a local , I'm from CT visiting my mother who is a local and I think we both agree we have a new favorite restaurant. Even the managers came over and asked throughout the night if we needed anything or if we were all good. You never see that anymore. All in all me and my mother had an amazing experience. I told the manager if I lived in NMB Â I'd be here 2-3 times a week. Â Absolutely 10 out of 5 stars. They knocked it out of the park. Thanks to Tatum and the entire team at TacoMundo. Hostess could use a lesson or two in directing customers to their table preferences but no complaints about the food. Shrimp quesadillas were tasty and fresh and reasonable priced. After someone in my group recommending we come here, I can see why! The food was delicious from start to finish. They came to our table with bagged chips and we each got our own individual salsa cup. Â We ordered queso for the table and we were basically fighting over it. Then, we each ordered a frozen margarita and it was delicious. Â I got raspberry, but there were a bunch of flavors. I searched Yelp for a great Mexican Restaurant in Myrtle Beach while here for a quick visit, and found it! From the chips, guacamole, to the queso, we had a great start. Â There was a proper and unique selection of margaritas-- including the one I selected which was blood orange and yummy. And then dinner arrived, and EVERYONE enjoyed what the ordered. Â The street corn has just the right amount of crisp and awesome flavors, the tacos were light and just right--with great flavor combinations, and the fajitas were sizzling perfection. Vegan Friendly Options Server familiar with the menu, no endless trips to kitchen to find answers. He quickly assured me the rice is cooked with vegetable and not flesh broth. I ordered the veggie fajitas. With a fun twist on it, there was baked cauliflower in the mix. GOOD FLAVOR, nice sauce and not soaked in oil. I have eaten at 3 Mexican restaurants in the last 5 days and while this one was $3 a plate more than the others ($13 for lunch fajitas) it was THE BEST tasting (and best portion size, too). It's a sad day when a Mexican can't get served at a Mexican Restaurant. Maybe I'm not the right shade. Waited 10 min watching servers and busers passing me and my boyfriend by and not so much as an acknowledgement. But hey props to the chip girl she was on point.  Thank you Lulu's  for saving the day!
