Tiny tiny shop! Accidentally came in Margarita Monday lol and obviously couldn't say no to $5 margaritas. I'll admit i'm not a huge fan of original margaritas, but our server was kind enough to mix in some strawberries into my drink! We ordered chips and guac and the chips here are SO good! My husband and I are new in town and we love good Mexican food so we figured we'd give it a shot. And we're so glad we did! We each got a two taco plate, which was a good way to sample their variety of tacos. My husband got a breakfast taco and a carnitas taco, which did a disappearing act, and I got the al pastor and the Nuevo León tacos. I thought the retried black beans were perfect, not too runny, and with a generous amount of cotija cheese. They brought out two hot sauces for us to use as well, both of which were excellent. The only upsetting part was the style of their chips (too thick for my preference, but I can cope), and the price of their margaritas, which hover in the 9-10 dollar range, and always feels a bit much to me. But they have a variety of other beverages including Topo Chico and they have happy hour everyday from 4-7, I believe. We'll definitely be back and are looking forward to it. More...

I'll make this easy........breakfast tacos = 4-5 starsregular tacos = 3-starsI'm from the taco mecca of Austin (birth place of the breakfast taco).  I've eaten through the entire menu at Taco Heads.  There's only 1 taco from the regular menu I'd order again.  But, the breakfast tacos are all excellent to outstanding (the chorizo is my fav).  And, they're huge.  So 2 will satisfy you pretty pretty well.  They also have online ordering, which makes it easy for pickup orders. I think I might have found one of my new favorite taco places in Fort Worth!! Taco Heads is a chill place with amazing tacos and even better elote. I also highly recommend the guacamole! What a great surprise at the end of the street from our Airbnb! Great "Best in Texas" margaritas with agave and fresh pressed lime juice, amazing tacos, and fresh sweet corn chips and homemade guacamole. Our favorite thing was the ceviche appetizer, which came with fresh guacamole and chips. We tried the fresh fish, garlic shrimp, spicy pork- Nuevo León al Pastor, and roasted chipotle brisket tacos. My experience was better than the average of the reviews.  There so many tacos to eat in the Fort it took a while to get here.  Some of the delay influenced by some low reviews.  I tried tacos un altered from the menu.Breakfast bacon egg & cheese, grilled garlic shrimp and  a taco pastor.   All were great.  A ton of ingredients on the non breakfast tacos that really worked well together.  All three did not cheat on the meat and cheese.  A plus in my book.3 people attended to our table....excellent service.  Good price, good tacos....yes a little different than the other million taco places.  It is table service which is a nice change More...

I want to give 2 thumbs to the service I got this time. Came in on Saturday, July 13th. Sat inside the main area which was a little warm but having the fan on me the entire time made it bearable to not ask for it to be cooler. A girl named Michelle who was training with Andy was our (my mom and I) server. She got our drink order, unsweet tea for mom, Lone Star for me. And we also ordered the chips and queso no pico. Which was super yummy. Also ordered 2 of each using flour tortillas, the chorizo and egg, the roasted chipotle brisket, and the garlic cilantro gulf shrimp. Got no onion or cilantro on the brisket and shrimp tacos. They came out loaded. I had previously ordered takeout and was disappointed with how they were filled but was very happy with how they came out this time. Our service was very good this time. Taco heads is an absolute vibe. you cannot go wrong with a taco some quac and a margarita on a hot texas summer day. if you're not sold there, they have $5 frozen margaritas all summer (I think? ) They also have $10 carafes of mimosas on sunday - talk about a sunday funday. the waiters are funny and the food is dynamite. really can't go wrong here More...

We were on our way out of Fort Worth and tacos sounded good (but when don't they?). Taco Heads is a cute little stop that apparently started with a food truck. They offered two vegetarian options, a bean-based taco and a grilled avocado-based taco. Both were tasty and had fresh ingredients. Service was great too. I thought the $4.50 for a taco (the bean was $3.50) was a little on the expensive side, but other than that I didn't have any complaints. They do offer a $10 two-taco plate. More...
