My review is only for the cornbread and chocolate chip cookies, which I had the pleasure of trying today . . . delicious! If the rest of their food is anything like their baked goods, I'd recommend them without hesitation. Yum!

Stephanie not only provides tasty food (whatever you want from simple to elegant), she presents the food in an eye-catching appealing manner. She just catered our fiftieth wedding anniversary party. The food was delicious! The decor was so attractive. And she is such a wonderful, friendly and gracious backup to the hostess. Several guests commented upon how delightful she is. For breakfast, our Homemade Turkey Sausage, Buttermilk Biscuits, & Creamy Cheese Grits is sure to bring scratch-made Southern Flavor to your breakfast meeting. For lunch, our clients crave our slow roasted Turkey Barbeque Buffet which includes Creamy Coleslaw, Vegetarian Baked Beans and Homemade Hoe Cakes. If you are hosting an evening reception, why not wow your guests with a Whole Poached Salmon and/or our spectacular Fruit & Fancy Cheese Crudite Display. And for everyone with a sweet tooth, our vegan desserts are exceptional in taste, quality, and appearance. A must try is our 3 Layer Vegan German Chocolate Cake and Sweeties Southern Pound Cake.

How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
At Sweeties, we believe in personalizing the catering experience, especially when creating a menu. We want to ensure that the food compliments what really matters to the host. Whether it is box-lunches to ensure a seamless working lunch, bountiful breakfast & lunch buffets for multi-day seminars, or canapes and cocktails for an elegant evening reception, we ask the right questions to ensure we deliver the food in a manner that makes for a great catering.
What do you love most about your job?
I absolutely love love love to bake and make people happy. My husband Chef Michael loves to cook and he cooks well...very well. We are both super organized and strive for perfection, him in the kitchen and me out front making things attractive and beautiful. We make a good team and we hire people that can meet our standards of producing fresh quality food, healthy and deliciously prepared, delivered in a timely fashion.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Michael and I have combined experience in fine dining, hotel sales, and customer service. After becoming empty nesters, we decided to pursue our lifelong dream of starting a catering company that focuses on creating healthy Southern food for people to enjoy.
