Jessica was recommended to us by our photographer and she was one of the best vendor decisions we made. She is very patient and knowledgeable about flowers and has really good taste. From the time I initially met with her to the day of my wedding, I changed my mind about various details a good 10 times! Jessica was so patient with me and provided the best advice. We had a budget that we needed to stick to but she still made my vision come to life in the most beautiful way. We had a traditional Persian ceremony, which required flowers for the Sofreh. What to write about a florist who is literally perfect? Jessica is a bride's dream florist. She is beyond helpful, has beautiful taste and is so fun to work with!
She is also an animal lover like us and we bonded very quickly over that! When we had our first meeting to talk floral designs for our Labor Day weekend wedding, she listened intently to what we like, what we prefer to avoid (my husband didn't want anything "pokey" and that became a running inside joke) and also listened and was very conscious about our budget. She never told us no, instead she provided options based on our budget. When we arrived at our venue the day of our wedding, we were blown away with what she had created! She not only handled all of the arrangements, she also put together our Chuppah and draped all of the fabric.
My bouquet was breathtaking and my bridesmaids' bouquets matched perfectly. Not only was she so much fun throughout but she also remained very professional - even when she had to build large arrangements in 100 degree weather. We got married this past LDW at the Ebell in Long Beach. She has become a great friend and we still talk a lot!
We highly recommend Jessica and the SWD team for all your floral and design needs!

Working with Jessica was amazing . Jessica really listens to you, so she can understand what you want for your wedding day .
I'm a visual person I told Jessica "I want to see what you have in mind ", she went right to work took the initiative Contacted the venue to coordinate a mock up. When we did the mock up she nailed it!!! It was everything I wanted . You can only imagine the wedding I was on cloud 9.

I met Jessica through networking a few years back. Just from her appearance you could tell she was darling and creative.
Once I met with her I soon found out that she was an interior desigher who also had a passion for floral. At this time I had only been with my boyfriend for about 3 years, but I knew I was going to marry him and I knew SHE was going to do the flowers!
At last he popped the question, and I went straight to Jessica!!!! We met and went over all my ideas and what I wanted, she did THE MOST AMAZING JOB EVER with creating the style and using all the colors I wanted. When you sit down to talk with Jess you will feel like she is a friend from the past. She is fun, bubbly and energetic. I did not have an exact vision of what I wanted for my wedding flowers but knew I wanted succulents, peonies and roses. When I saw my flowers before the wedding I was in awe of what Jess created. They were not only beautiful, colorful but also fragrant. All of the flowers were exactly as I imagined. She had beautifully jarred flowers on shepherd hooks for the ceremony and an absolutely stunning arrangement above the ceremony space. The boutonnières, corsages and bouquet were equally stunning. I met Jessica from my best friend and local photographer Jaime Davis Photo. Needless to say I didn’t just hire someone I gained a friend!
I remember meeting Jessica at the start of my wedding process and we met again once I needed to book a florist. She was there to help me along the way to help guide me and make a vision come to life You can pretty much say she was a fairy godmother of florists. Jessica was able to look over all my inspiration and work with a budget I had in mind and let me tell you she didn't miss on detail! Jessica was so sweet by being able to email and text me with any questions I had. I trusted her with so much and really let her take a handle on thing and let her create her own story with with colors and earthy tones I wanted. I can say the BIG day was worth all the sweat and tears. She got every detail in place (she even put a few extra special touches!) and even helped me with the highs and lows of the process. Her drive and determination and dedication is something I very much admired. Jessica managed to make me and my groom so happy we love looking back at our photos and overtime we say were so happy to agreed to have florals in our budget and that SWD floral made it work. Jessica I’m so thankful for your creative mindset and for taking in all my details from fake grass runners and keeping it clean and simple SWD FLORAL is amazing. Jessica is absolutely a great asset! She looked at my Pinterest boards and made exactly what I was hoping for: based on everything I liked.
She picked up the overall aesthetic of the wedding and she executed flawlessly!
...and she's a sweetheart, to boot! She wanted to do everything she could to ease my mind and she rolled with the changes and made updates without question.
She was willing to come to a location near me for our in-person meeting. Don't choose anyone else.

My advice to couples booking SWD Floral is to just trust the florist, Jessica. Unless you have an extremely strong preference about your flowers, I would give SWD Floral some guidance and let them do the rest. We just gave Jessica some examples from the internet of what we liked or didn't like, discussed our preferences and budget, and she did the rest. It was easy and a huge load off our minds during the wedding planning. She's the expert and knows a lot about flowers and arrangements, so the more you leave it up to her, the better the arrangements will come out (that's my opinion, at least). More...
