I've been a client of Sunny's for just under a year and I can say that she is an excellent counselor and life coach (depending on the needs at the time). I would make the case that this diversity in skill-sets lends itself well to what I am looking for in a counselor. What do you love most about your job?
Connecting with people throughout the healing process and being able to help people find their power and thrive is my absolute passion! I have worked with various populations from education to mental health & we all deserve a space to feel safe to learn about ourselves and begin to flourish!!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love being able to create space for my clients that other environments may not be able to facilitate. We have an art & play room for expression therapy and I also meet clients off site if they choose an alternative therapy for the day. I have had the opportunity to run a successful outpatient program, be an adjunct instructor of psychology at the collegiate level, and achieved many career goals. Working with people in my private practice has been fulfilling and rewarding.
Why should our clients choose you?
Traditional counseling is not for everyone. I have a unique approach to the healing process while maintaining a state counseling license in addition to a being a certificated life coach. A client deserves to be met where they are at in life and to be able to choose their path of healing. Everyone can find therapy in many ways, it is up to the individual of what that looks like for them.
