The place is pretty clean, and it's layout is nice. There are a lot of different stores here, and in comparison to other malls. .. there aren't that many empty store fronts! This isn't the biggest or the best mall, but there's a lot here! I tend to get anxious in super busy places, so it's nice that there isn't a swarm of people, even during the holiday season it isn't over crowded. The parking lot (the one by the Flix entrance) could use some work, and the layout is kind of odd, but nothing that is so detrimental bad. More...

I only went here to watch the joker movie at fix brew house. It was great, except I'd never been to the location at all before and the parking locations are a bit less than conventional. It's hard to redo the layout of the parking lot once a place has been established but other multi-outlet shopping centers have taken note of this and changes have been made throughout time. More...

Old Chicago was exactly what you would expect. Decent food, etc. Merle Hay Mall is struggling a bit but still has some good offerings and is reasonably well maintained.

Merle Hay Mall is one of my favorite malls. I'm pretty sure Flix Brewhouse is the main thing keeping the mall relevant, but it's still a good mall even without the theater, Flix Brewhouse just makes it better.
