Good bed however to high for my wife to get into. We are handicap and my wife uses a scooter and handicap room are not large enough to turn scooter around.

All around very nice accomodations. From the font desk to the restaurant & bar, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nicely furnished with comfortable beds, a desk, a bureau, and a TV. The restaurant had an excellent happy hour with a nice draft beer and appetizers. I always stay at Holiday Inns. This qould have gotten a 5 star, but there was a smell in our room that smelled mildew like, or stale. The room was adequate and comfy. We went to the bar area and service was great. Management gave us a 25.00 coupon for the smell. That was very appreciated! Breakfast was ok, and our server was ambivilent and we saw her 2x the entire breakfast. The smell dropped to 3...management response back to 5! Then server dropped to 4. More...

The catering and hotel staff at the Holiday Inn Express Dayton/Fairborn were truly amazing to work with for my wedding reception. They were professional yet very personal when helping me plan my event. I was amazed at how easy they made it to plan and what a stress relief it was to work with them. Their amazing staff decorated the banquet room to my specifications and made it a night my husband, me, all of our family and friends could enjoy and will remember for years. I can’t say enough about Ariell Burrey, the catering sales manager. She was a delight to work with and exceptionally good at event planning and all the details that come with it. She definitely made my husband and me feel extra special for our big day. The chef made the best food for our reception. All of our guests commented on the amazing dinner he and his staff prepared. It was difficult deciding what to choose for our dinner at our tasting because everything he prepared for us was delicious. Having a wedding reception at a hotel gives guests the opportunity to enjoy an evening out (perhaps of drinking) with an overnight stay. This was great for family and friends haven’t seen each other for years and guest who chose to stay at the hotel were treated to another amazing meal for breakfast. I would recommend The Holiday Inn Express Dayton/Fairborn to any couples out there looking for a beautiful place for their reception that is affordable and has a staff that is a delight to work with. We stay here when we are going to the Museum of the Air Force, which we do yearly. ||||Pro's: Staff was friendly, the room was clean, the climate control system worked well. The bedding policy has changed since the last visit so we had a really nice comfortable bed with a wonderful mattress. Breakfast was very good. I am gluten free but I had no problem finding something to eat. The wait staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. Over all it was a very nice stay.||||The most positive thing about the weekend was that there were many teams staying there from a soccer tournament. The staff put us on a different floor from the soccer teams so we had a nice quiet stay. ||||Challenges: In this day of electronics, there were limited opportunities for charging our devices. There was an interesting alarm clock next to the bed that had two USB ports but only one of them worked. There was a traditional Plug at the Bottom of the lamp, but no USB ports and most of the room's plugs were blocked. ||||Additional information: There was a 4 day festival in Cincinnatti and the soccer tournament in Dayton so we paid a premium for the room, even with the discount. We stayed here several times...even getting snowed in on one occasion. The hotel is neat, attractive, and the rooms are large and comfortable. The staff are friendly and efficient. This was a wonderful stay. We had been driving in rain for ten hours and we were greeted like we were family. The amenities that we did use were excellent. I went to Wright Patterson on business when I decided to stay at the Holiday Inn near Fairborn, Ohio. The hotel located next to Wright State University. Had another great experience at this hotel. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were so friendly, had great sense of humor and made us feel like they had known us forever.
