I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was clean, lighting was good, food was good, and the TV's weren't too loud so you can actually have a conversation with someone. Our server was amazing, her name was Kelly and she got everything perfect. She went above and beyond, when we come back in the future we're going to be sure to ask for her. The only reason this isn't a 5 star is because of a few minor details about the food. While the ribs did pull off the bone easily and have good flavor, it was not very tender or juicy, the pulled pork sandwich was good, collard greens were cut too roughly (needs to be smaller pieces) but good flavor. The potato salad was a bit strange, I think it had small pieces of meat in it? The onion rings were good just kind of small, jalapeno poppers were very tasty because it had cream cheese instead of cheddar but the jalapeno inside had a slightly tough skin to bite into. Chicken wings were cooked really well but I didn't care for the Buffalo or the Carolina Gold sauces, though our waitress said her favorite was the sweet chili so I'll have to try that next time! :) More...

Was there with out of state family everyone loved it. I had the Burger it was awesome and family had the cod and loved it. The perch wasn't as good as the cod though one family member had the perch he wished he would have ordered the cod instead. Remember this is just a opinion from 1 person out of like 7 I'm not a fish eater so I personally can't say but have the Burger it was awesome. More...

In a word fantastic. The waitress for the evening (Jill) was more then up for the challenge of our 10 person group showing up without reservation or warning. The food was served hot and timely. We all enjoyed our food on what appeared to be a new patio and frankly I wish I could rate the visit higher but alas there are only 5 stars available. More...

If you want a nice big, inexpensive, grilled steak that doesn't need any steak sauce or seasoning, this is the place for it. Their menu is small but in addition, they have specials, and everything I've tried is good. As for atmosphere, it's a nice bar, but it's a bar, loud day drinkers and all. They have a nice patio away from the seating in the bar, but I might still caution you to not think of this place as a family restaurant, because some loud drunks inevitably leave the bar to go outside to smoke.
