Shawn fixed my laptop after Microsoft Technical Support created additional problems when contacted to help me by phone. He is professional, knowledgeable, honest and his rate was very reasonable with no hidden fees. He is personable and also took time to explain what he was doing since I asked to learn about what he was doing to recover all my information and make my computer usable again. I am technically challenged and he didn't mind when I asked some pretty basic questions. I highly recommend him and if I ever need assistance again, I will only trust him. Well, this guy, Shawn was great! I called him Friday night and got an immediate call back with appt Saturday after 10. Texted him at 10 and he said to come right over. I kept getting an alert that a problem was detected in my cooling system and to turn off and repair. I googled it, followed directions and the alert kept coming up every 60 seconds or so. As it turns out, I had a lot of dust in my computer. He carefully removed the back and battery, brushed and blew out the dust, removed a loose part that could have shorted out my computer and put it all back together. Then, he showed me how to remove cookies that prevented me from viewing MSN, without erasing all my passwords. He showed me how to delete my history, which built up over time and slowed down my computer. Then he told me NOT to keep my computer plugged in while not in use: wears down the battery! Who knew. I passively mentioned that a used car I just purchased wouldn’t sync to my phone and out to the car he went, to sync it up. He couldn’t sync the phone book, because dealer had skipped past the “sync phone book” and suggested I go to dealer to complete. So there we are. I have NO idea what he’s gonna charge me for all those extra little tasks and it was $95. Couldn’t believe it! Wrote a check for $100 and tipped him with two cans of canned air (dust removal). I’m telling everyone I know about his good service. Already has a tech deficient friend planning to call him about syncing her phone to her Prius (she has only recently upgraded from a flip phone to an iPhone but had the Prius for a few years.
