What makes photo booths such a great alternative to traditional photographers?
While traditional photography is a great way to capture a formal setting, photo booths capture the fun of the event. We offer a wide range of booths starting with open, enclosed and fish eye booths, to the newest Selfie Station and Roaming Photo booths which bring digital "SnapChat" style props and filters to the booth. Our goal is to capture the smiles and make memories that last a life time.
What photo booth props do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of physical and digital props. Our normal box of props includes a variety of hats, boas, leis, glasses, and signs. We have a large assortment of theme oriented props, such as light sabers and masks for Star Wars to boas, long strings of pearls, cigarette holders and top hats for the roaring 20's. Let us know what you are looking for and we will probably have it available for you.
What do you love most about your job?
The best part of my job is when you see the smiles on individual's faces because of the job that has been completed. There is nothing like showing a child his or her face after it has been face painted and seeing the awe in their face. The smiles and silly faces captured by our photo booth is amazing. The chatter of the children in the morning after a slumber party is incredible to hear. The joy of little girls being pampered with a simple foot soak and fingernail painting is amazing. We are truly blessed to work at a company that creates happiness.
What inspired you to start your own business?
During new year's eve in 2009, my resolution was to work towards being happy. I had a great job, but really wanted to focus on being happier. When I lost my teaching job at a private school due to the economy, I realized that what I really wanted was to help others achieve this goal. I created Personal Expressions and St. Louis Children's Party and Event Rentals to help others be happy. Our goal is to help you and your guests smile and have a wonderful, memorable time. Having a photo to record your event is just icing on the cake.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our company has grown considerably in the past few years. We started with face painting and one enclosed photo booth. We go to yearly conferences to learn about the newest techniques and the most current photo booth equipment. We continue to strive for excellence and have over 1000 events, with more than 600 of the events completed in the past two years.
