Unfortunately, I was in need of a private investigator. I was trying to find someone that was incredibly hard to find and I emailed Mike with all the details. Mike called me back within the hour.Mike was upfront and direct with me, while he wasn't able to take on my case. He was able to help me and provide information about the person I was looking for which lead me to find them on the same day. I can't thank Mike enough for helping me. I was trying to play private investigator and trying to find the person myself, I was able to piece together bits and pieces of information with my own detective work (My Google-Fu is very strong too). Hands down, no question at all, one of the best P.I.'s in the business today, he has the ability, the knowledge and certainly the education and I wont discuss the 20 plus years of experience. Smart P.I.'s have to be cautious not to be put in the cross hairs of clients with 'issues'. This is an incredible business, with more pits to fall into than jumping from tall buildings with holding an umbrella.  It worked great for Julie Andrews, not so much in the world that Mr. Spencer sloshes through. Mike Spencer is an excellent private investigator. I am a lawyer and I hired him in a case to interview witnesses in the Bay Area. I had the pleasure to seek services from Mr. Spencer and his partner Mr. Elrod in early 2010. A woman was of financial threat to me because of her possibly false and fraudulent records presented to me for a business agreement. Spencer and Elrod were professionals in which they tracked down valuable information and presented to me only the facts relevant to the business agreement (as mentioned in other reviews, they have to be careful when a man needs info of a woman). They proved her to be a fraud, and recommended me to cut the agreement as soon as possible. Unfortunately because of my own stupidity, I decided not to follow their recommendation at the time.However, a year later I was able to clear my head and cut all ties using what I learned from their services. I went to Mike for some help on a personal matter which I felt he did a great job. He was very professional and always kept me updated with any new information in regards to my case.
