Jared was a fabulous DJ. Very impressed with his music selection and how he engaged the crowd. He kept the party going and was all rise(HIMYM reference). Thanks Jared for being awesome. My husband and I used Spark Events for DJ, photography (engagement & wedding), videography, photo booth and day-of-coordinating services.
The whole package and it was SO worth it.
Elizabeth was so amazing and helpful in the planning process, and then exceeded my expectations on the day of. She paid attention to every detail and if I needed something to immediately made it happen. She made sure the whole day went off without a hitch!
Brice was our DJ, and he was awesome! He made sure our guests were having a great time and kept the atmosphere fun and exciting.
We had Joseph and Logan as our videographers for the day and they were fantastic. They made the day so fun, and were so professional. It was almost like they weren't there, but I know they captured so much of our special day! I'm so grateful for their dedication and hard work to capture the memories of our day.
Finally, Ike our photographer...PHENOMENAL. We worked with Ike during our engagement pictures, which included our two puppies. He was so patient and calm, and worked so hard to get the perfect shots I had in my mind. Then on our wedding day he again exceeded my expectations. He captured every moment and worked so hard to make those moments even more special. He was so calm the whole day, which put me at ease and I didn't have to worry for one second that anything was going to be missed.
Every penny that was spent to work with the Spark team was beyond worth it and I can't say thank you enough to them for making our special day that much more awesome!!

My husband and I used Spark Events for photography and DJ services for our May 2015 wedding. Ike and Joseph were our photographers, and Brice was our DJ.
Being someone who places high value on photography (and is usually the person who is taking photographs everywhere I go), I knew it was going to be a challenge finding a photographer who could be my eyes for the day, as the one sad part of my wedding day would be no time to take all the photos I wanted myself. Ike and I spoke on the phone a week or more before our event (which was excellent since I was living out-of-state and unable to meet in person). He listened carefully to what I needed and wanted and heard me out about the types of images I was hoping to have. Ike and Joseph executed everything I had hoped for and more! Plus both people were easy to work with and yet didn't feel intrusive like some event photographers can seem. Since I asked for tons of photographs, I knew that the processing/turn around time of at least three weeks, if not four, was realistic, and the photos were done in the expected timeline. They were worth the wait!
As for the DJ services, I loved that Spark Events had an online event profile that includes the ability to customize 25 must-play songs, 25 hope-to hear songs, and 25 don't-play songs. Initially I had planned to use a shuffling iPod playlist for the music, but my husband loved the energy that Brice had and also having someone to help with the timeline at the reception. Brice did a fantastic job getting people into the dancing and fun, and it was also very easy for him to adjust the music and event schedule midstream when we decided to cut out an hour early. The whole thing was seamless.
The expense of both of these services were not in our original wedding budget. We chose to up the budget to make it happen.
One of the first things my husband said to me after we finished our big day was, "Hiring Spark was money well spent."

My wife and I were very thrilled with the production quality and content of the highlight video as well as all of the quality moments footage. They even threw in the raw footage for free! Alex from Spark Events recently DJ'ed our wedding reception at Big Cedar Lodge. Not only was Alex very thorough and professional during our pre-reception phone calls (we live about 5 hours away from our wedding venue so we had to plan over the phone) but we really felt like he wanted to understand exactly what feel we wanted for our guests to experience. He played all of the songs we requested, but also did an excellent job of filling in the gaps with music that really flowed with what we picked out. He also did a great job of pacing the reception with events. I was very impressed with Spark Events's website for asking detailed questions about the event timeline, song requests, and other reception information. Alex pronounced everyone's names correctly, was very organized with the event timeline and was also great about accepting and playing music requests from guests. He was very friendly and was set up and ready to play before guests even arrived at our venue. We used Spark Events for cinematography, photo booth, and dj at our wedding. These guys really know what they’re doing. I was originally on the fence about having a photo booth, but it was honestly the highlight of the reception. I’m so grateful I have all the photos to look back on and see how much everyone enjoyed themselves. The dj was great and really had the guests engaged. We hired Spark Events for our photographer, cinematographer, deejay, emcee, and photo booth. They did an amazing job all around! The deejay and emcee were awesome- took requests and were even busting out some awesome dance moves which helped get the guests involved and dancing. The photographer and cinematographer were great at giving us direction and coming up with creative photos. The photo booth was really fun and everyone enjoyed it. I loved that we could get all of these vendors through one company and they all work cohesively together. We had a destination type wedding in Lake of the Ozarks so our planning was done online and through video conference which was all we needed. I would highly recommend Spark Events! We used their video services for our wedding in June. The videographer was great and worked well with our photographer and he got some awesome shots. We loved the video they put together when we finally got it. That was the only downside though is that it took 4 months to get our footage instead of the usual two, and when we did get it they had forgotten to put certain clips on there. We had the photo booth and DJ experience with Spark Events for the Springfield Dream Center launch! They were PHENOMENAL! The staff is extremely friendly, organized, professional, and interactive with the crowd . The weather pushed us inside and caused us to unexpectedly need another speaker in an open area. We just had Spark Events DJ for a retreat dance and it was phenomenal. We had a complication with setup time and the DJ ended up having to come early. They were so willing to work with us and come earlier than necessary. He was there exactly on time, was super enthusiastic, and did such a great job at the dance. Without a doubt this is a 5 star company! I am not sure how to put into words how much we enjoyed having Spark as a part of our wedding. We are two hours away and they never questioned weather this was an issue. Our guests went on and on about how great the DJ was (Brice). They worked with my matron of honor for her toast, to give us a truly unforgettable flash mob toast. The best way to sum it up, is that we had people from the age of 2 - 82 dancing the entire night! Brice was the DJ for our April 2015 wedding, and writing this review has proven difficult because just writing the word "AWESOME" one hundred times doesn't seem sufficient enough. If you want a boring old wedding where no one dances and the energy is lacking, Spark is NOT the DJ for you.Everyone had an amazing time (one guest danced so hard he split his pants) and we practically had to be dragged off the dance floor at the end of the night. We enjoyed our meetings with Spark leading up to the event ("spark"ling grape juice anyone?) and all of our communication with the company was great. Brice found the right mix of music for our guests and even politely checked with me during the event to make sure I was okay with certain songs being played. Spark Events were the people we used to DJ our New Years Event at the Aloft Hotel in Rogers! I had reached out to a few DJ's on Gigi Master (that's were I had found them) and Elizabeth had called and followed up almost immediately! Although, I gave it a few days to see what else was in the Market. I was very happy that I didn't use anyone else other than Spark Events, once again it was because they were proactive and called us back... that was the reason for us booking! I'm also VERY glad that we did! The DJ that rocked the house was Austin and my hats off to him for knowing his stuff and what's in! I requested a few tracks that I personally enjoyed and he never said no and always played the track. The crowd was very reactive to his music and the event was better than what we had expected.Spark is very professional and came in on time to set up and also broke down and cleared the area once they had finished. These guys are worth the time to call and will not disappoint, I'm planning on using them in the new future for events that we will have.
