My Godfather passed and due to unforeseen financial circumstances I could not attend the funeral. Â I live in Maryland an the funeral was in Massachusetts. I called Sowle the Florist in New Bedford, Massachusetts and spoke to Maria. Â It is not easy to pick flowers over the phone because you have to hope they are as beautiful as the picture! Â I told Maria it was important to me that the arrangement was beautiful and special. Â She suggested the Beautiful in Blue arrangement and since my Godfather/Uncle was a Veteran to substitute the white roses with red so the arrangement was red white and blue. I loved the idea and told her it was important to me that it was special. Â It was beautiful!! With all that was going on for her,his daughter sent me a text telling me how beautiful they were! I had met Nancy at the New Bedford Voke craft fair and loved her sculpted dolls. I was looking for something specific for a gift, and she did not have it, but she said she could make it. I was so excited! She made me the perfect doll for my aunt, who makes handmade soap. I'm guessing she either works or owns Sowle, as that's where I had to go to pick it up. They have beautiful floral arrangements and many different things to pick from. And, my doll, is amazing! I can't wait to give it to my aunt on Christmas Eve! More...

I needed flowers for a bridal shower. Â I looked online to find a florist near my location. This was one of three florist that came up. I randomly walked in at 9 AM, they opened at 8 AM, and asked for a cellophane wrapped bouquet with specific colors. A little old lady greeted me nicely, and then went to complete my order. She was a bit slow due to her age, but the bouquet was beautiful. I said when I walked in that I needed the bouquet to be $30 or less, and she made me a bouquet for $30. I forgot to take a picture :(. The interior of the store is not much to be desired, but the only thing that matters is the product, and I would return here. More...
