Parking lot construction is finish! Our oldest like the evening Yoga classes. My youngest is getting great help from the adaptive fitness class she is in. I love that the downtown Y is a diverse reflection of the community. The staff is knowledgeable and approachable. The facilities are part of the fabric of the city. So many classes are included, and have a wide range of options. The classes are offered at a variety of times, which works well for my schedule. I love that there's child care (I may have children in the next few years and it'll be great to still be able to work out). I love that there's a hot tub + steam room + sauna. I've been coming to this facility for about four years and they've always been consistent with their friendly staff, new classes and maintenance. Everything is always clean. Love all of the classes that are available to us at no additional cost. Zumba & Chisel are great classes! The pool is very nice too, it also has an adventure pool for the little ones. Also has a hot tub.

We use the after school program in South Milwaukee and it's great. My kids are just really happy to go there, they get mad when I pick them up early.

I work for Alto-Shaam which is also in Menomonee Falls WI. I have had the pleasure of working with Aaron Miller and the staff with team building activities such as "Build a Bike" and "Build a Bear". Aaron opened up the YMCA for us to use for these events and we were able to donate the items we built to children in Menomonee Falls. We were able to present the bikes to the children while at the YMCA and what a touching moment because not only did we give back to the community but we gave the bikes to 4 children who never had a bike before. What an experience. Aaron and the facilitator coordinated the entire event and I am so appreciative of what the Tri County YMCA of Menomonee Falls did for us as a company. Thank you! More...

Nice facility and staff. Children's pool time is limited. Weight lifting equipment new, floor sometimes needs more cleaning. Plenty of treadmills. Basketball court is newer but floor seems to be a floating floor which is poor for dribbbling, and sometimes court is over crowded and may not get to play at all at times when they schedule children activities on the court. Ive been a member of this Y for about 8 years now. I really enjoy the members, the staff and really enjoy working out at this facility. The only issue I have is the Men's locker room. The locker room at times is filthy. I often see old bandaids lying on the floor and even in the sauna. The whirlpool often has hair and other things floating in it. The counters and sinks need to be wiped down on a regular basis. The floor should be vacuumed at least a couple times per day. There also should be a towel bin in the Men's shower area. I often see dirty towels laying all over the locker room. The inside of the lockers should be cleaned on a regular basis. I often find garbage left behind from the previous person. Lastly, it be nice if you guys could get the sauna to actually function like it should. I often go in there and it takes 15 minutes just to break a sweat. I feel these are some easy inexpensive ways to improve the locker room. Hopefully you will take better care of the Men's locker room moving forward. More...

I love the Ymca, I use to go a lot more. I babysit for my grandkids, use to buy grandparent passes and went few times a week. Not anymore because you can only have 5 free passes a year. I'd rather pay for the grandparent passes, so we could go more ☹️ More...

My family chose this Y after a bad experience a local franchise gym. Best decision ever and well worth the investment. We are here several times a week. All members and staff that we have encountered are super nice and helpful. The equipment and facilities meet and exceed my expectations. My only wish is that they had more to do for kids between 8-12 (think the Vault at Waukesha!) and larger variety of water fitness classes at times working non AOA or Silver sneaker adults could attend. I joined about a week ago, and have been in every day. This location was built in 71, and it's been kept in good shape. It seems like each day, something's being serviced, upgraded, or repaired so it's kept in good working order. The only things I don't like...the boys locker room is junky, like a middle school locker room, there's no CNN on the exercise floor (but two tvs on fox), and the equipment has 30pin iPhone cords (please get some lightning cables). I decided to try going in the morning, I usually go between 5-6pm. I know this won’t make a difference but the place is cleaner and more stocked in the morning. The people that go in the evening pay the same amount as those pay in the morning. If you can’t afford to clean twice a day then maybe switch off, we that workout in the evening deserve the same as those who workout in the morning. More...
