tihe atmosphere was good for a Sunday morning. They had inspirational music playing which I like but it wasn't loud or overbearing. The cashier was friendly and got our order just right. The lady came out from the back to fix it she acknowledged us and asked us how we were doing which was nice. You can tell she had a spiritual attitude as well. The place was not ideal for families eating in there are only a few tables with 2 to each table. I don't mind that though because it just right with the cozy atmosphere. We got our food to go and it was just two of us so that was fine. I will definitely be back. I do recommend for others to try. Their prices are great for what you get. More...

This is a small, tiny place with a big heart and great southern food.There are a few small tables, but takeout and delivery are also available. I have been twice and had takeout both times. The staff at the counter are friendly and engaging. The wait is not long with takeout. The country fried steak and gravy was probably the best that I have ever had, and I have had my fair share. The sweet tea is just right and the peach cobbler is delightful. The macaroni and cheese could be matched by few. The fried okra and green beans are average, while the other dishes more than make up for it. A sweet corn muffin comes with your meal, which for lunch is an entree and two side dishes. At 4 PM the prices go up, and you get three side dishes instead of just two. The desserts on the menu include banana pudding, peach cobbler, cheesecake, etc. The sweet tea is perfection. Generous portions make this a good deal. This place is definitely worth a try. Just be sure to turn in at the Texaco station. More...
