Sophout was great to work with! He did our wedding photos and we are thrilled with how they turned out. The quality of his work is excellent and he made sure to understand our vision for our photos. He also spent a good amount of time getting to know us before the wedding and running through our itinerary for the day. Not all photographers would do this, so we really appreciated his thoughtfulness. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I think the secret of taking a good photograph is the story behind it. I've always envisioned myself as a visual storyteller, and I try to do that with my photographs. I want people who look at my photos to ask questions, be curious, and really dissect what's happening. However, lighting and composition is what holds everything together. If I can achieve great lighting, superb composition, and wonderful storytelling, I believe I've created a successful photograph. These are the most important elements of great photographs, and I'm in constant pursuit of making them.
What do you love most about your job?
I love taking pictures and creating with my camera! No two photoshoots are ever the same, and I love the spontaneity, challenges, and opportunities that each and every photoshoot presents to me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My passion for photography and visual storytelling led me to where I am today. Photography is a means of joy and comfort, and having the ability to provide people with memories gives me great pleasure!
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm a just a normal guy who takes pictures! I'm relaxed, easygoing, and never too pushy. I work with the clients comfort level. I also don't want people to see me as just a professional photographer. Rather, I want my clients to see me as a friend! If you feel comfortable around me, you'll want your photos taken by me.
Some of the best pictures photographers make are photos that are candid and natural. Creating an environment where my client feels at ease can yield these kinds of results. The more comfortable you feel, the better the photos!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I'm fully vaccinated and boosted! If clients want me to wear a mask, I will respect their wishes and do so!
