We went there recently on a Sunday afternoon. Only three tables had people at them and we were seated right away. We decided to order from the breakfast menu to make it simpler, nothing that should have taken long to cook at all. It took 40 minutes to get our food. We had to box it up immediately because we had somewhere to be and didn't have much time to actually eat. Found out later that instead of sausage they gave me half cooked bacon. Was not impressed. I have been in a search for an awesome burger all week. after having my heart broken again and again I finally stumbled my tired and weary butt into Sonny's Grill. my heart has finally found a burger that it has been longing for. so juicy and tasty that they are bound to be the very thing that causes my heart to sieze. But a sweet slow death would be a price worth paying for the savioryness that this burger has brought. I do not like vegetables, Sonny's did not force vegetables on my plate. my wife love vegetables. First time coming to this restaurant in Downtown Greer and it was a horrible experience. The waiter was nice but that was the only thing good about that place. None of our food was cooked correctly or even done. I attended their drag event brunch and found their food delicious. Most importantly, the atmosphere was so friendly. Last night their food truck was at The Spinning Jenny, I had some pulled pork nachos and my husband had some fries, both were delicious and the portions were huge! Unfortunately this was an extremely bad food experience. I got chicken wings and they tasted and smelled rancid. Only took I bite and spit it out stomach become uneasy after that one bite. Who ever I talked to didn’t seem to care about it. We wanted to like this place. Went in today and ordered a hamburger with fries and chicken salad sandwich with potatoe salad. It took an hour to get the food to the table and the food was not that great for that long of a wait. When we arrived only 2 tables were there and 1 person at the bar. Only 1 other person came in after us and sat at the bar. They said we're sorry we've been focusing on the food trucks. If you can't serve the people sitting down in your restaurant because you're too busy focusing on food trucks then you should close your doors. The only comp we were offered was free banana pudding, gross. After reading some of the reviews on here it appears this kind of service is a common practice for this business. We will not be back. Smoked anything from whole pigs to whole alligator and everything in between. We customize our food for your event. Want fresh seafood we have it So if low country boil or crawfish boil makes you light up we have you covered. Sides are all homemade. Vegan options no problem

We talk. It’s all about YOU. I want to know about the event. If it’s a wedding let’s do your favorite foods. I need to know what your end game is to make sure what you get is what you seen in your minds eye.
What do you love most about your job?
The look on some ones face when they walk out and see what I’ve created. I’ve taken there vision and made it real. We become family with our customers
What inspired you to start your own business?
Been cooking with my dad and grandpa all my life. Now I do with my sons and daughters and our grandsons. It’s a family tradition

Our food will amaze your guest. From the smell of the smoke till there last bite. They will be blown away with our food and service
