Minny's hair studio #13. She is the best! I have been going to her for years and has movedb to this location. Each studio is independently owned. Minny is amazing. I bring my 4 year old here to get his hair cut by Nancy. She is awesome - so friendly and kind, and she puts him at ease. We used to go to a "kids salon" that was noisy, full of toys, with blaring tv screens . While it was ok when he was a toddler, this environment is much nicer - a quiet private salon, comfortable seating and Nancy's calm and lovely personality. Tracey is a miracle worker!! She microbladed my eyebrows, tattooed my eyeliner and worked her magic on my hair!!Asian hair always turns orange and mine was no exception. She did color correction on it and ta-da!! Such a nice soothing color. She knows exactly what to do with my super fine, stick straight hair so that all the processes dont break it. Shandel is amazing! She has perfected her craft and leaves you feeling like a brand new person. Being my first massage she made me feel extremely comfortable and I cannot say enough great things about my experience. Recently I also surprised my mom with a spa day with Shandel and my mom was extremely impressed. TAYLOR LIVESLEY: This girl not only changed my hair color when it was severely damaged by a "high end" hair stylist in LA, but she actually changed the texture of my hair from thin to thick and strong. Taylor is truly the only person I've ever gone to who colors your hair the way you asked and not "the way she thinks it should be." I live in Los Angeles full time and I make the drive all the way to San Marcos because she is THAT GOOD and I don't want anyone else touching my hair. Cindy Lamb, HeadLyners, worked miracles with my hair which was EXTREMELY damaged from  over processing when we met. My hair is to the nape of my neck flowing onto my shoulders in about three months. Tahira is awesome! Super friendly, knows what she's doing, and will get you on the right track for your eyebrow needs. I walked in and was helped right away. Her shop is nice and clean. She gave me some tips on how to maintain my brows to get to where I'm ultimately trying to go with them (I bought some castor oil from her for $4 and that's supposed to help them grow in faster). Apparently there are two "Salon Sola" locations in Bakersfield, one located on Young Rd., and the other located at 8301 Brimhall.  My appointment was with Ashley Ogden at the Brimhall location.  I was unfamiliar with the beauty mall concept (several different businesses occupying one location), but I really like it.  Basically a one stop shop for hair, nails AND skin.  I could book all of my appointments for one afternoon and never have to leave the premises!I visited "Beauty by Ashley" and was quite pleased with the entire experience.  Ashley's personal space is beautifully decorated with a very sophisticated, peaceful vibe.  Ashley gave me a wonderful facial, asking all the right questions regarding any specific needs I might have for skin care, and the product line she utilized felt and smelled great.  Afterwards my skin felt very refreshed and rejuvenated.  Exactly what I was hoping for.  I'm already planning my next appointment.  I can't wait! Place is really nice and clean! Love that it's close to the freeway so going back home isn't a hassle! Also love the fact that it's close to Nordstrom Rack and not that far from Brea mall so I can get my shopping on! There is a new business in there called Revive and it is amazing!!! Its nice to have something like that in the area!! They offer botox, fillers, B12 injections and iv hydrations! ! Jane, the owner, is constantly adding things to her "menu" to involve anyone! She also is great with keeping her audience informed on social media!! If you follow her via facebook or instagram she has raffles to give out a FULL syringe of filler!!! Love Jane's personality!! I couldn't have asked for a better experience!! Tracey is so friendly and she knows what she is doing.  She's got the credentials -- so feel assured that she's been trained and is qualified.  She really loves what she does and you can tell as she walks you through the whole experience.  I was there for about 2 hours total.  You sign documents, she explains the process, and then she draws an outline of the shape and finally begins the process.  It's obviously not entirely pain free but I feel that she does a good job of minimizing the discomfort (she tells you to take Tylenol and she locally numbs the area) and when you're done you have got an awesome new brow shape.  Initially it is extremely dark but Tracey explains that when first done your brows are swollen and the skin will dry, crust and shed your new shape and color.  I can't wait to go back for the free touch up in a few weeks.  Please don't look any further....when it comes to your face you can only go to the best...and Tracey is the best! I've been looking for a stylist with knowledge, skill and the personality to engage with my daughters. Especially as my girls are making their own choices about their hair cuts. All 3 of us are thrilled to find Nancy! She was very quick and easy to communicate with before meeting her. At the appointment, she was so sweet, kind and truly enjoyed talking to my daughters. It was fun for us 4 girls to hang out in her nice space at Sola Salon. Each of my daughters chose different cuts. Nancy gave them exactly what they were asking for. Also gave them advice based on their hair types, styling and product. But don't worry, she doesn't "push" products on you like some salons. I asked. She's friendly and clearly has knowledge and love for what she does. We look forward to seeing her again next time. I love this place! This review is for Liz Hair Studio inside Sola Salon . I got a great Groupon deal. This salon is similar to salons I used to go when I lived in San Diego. First you walk in and there are several suites with different specialties such as a nail technician, hair stylists, eyelash extension, etc. There is no need in dealing with a hostess to greet you. You just walk into your appointment. I walked into my appointment with Liz and she had this wonderful personality and very professional. It was a simple cut but she took her time and i loved it. If you are around or familiar with the Fullerton area, Sola solan studios is the go to place to get your eyebrows done. I highly recommend Tahijra and she is available on suit 2. It amazes me how patient she is when shes threading eyebrows. Not to mention, she knows what she is doing just by her actions and dedication to her clients. My goal for my eyebrows is to even them out and thicken them. I have been coming with tajira for about 3 weeks and I see and FEEL a major difference on my eyebrows. I bought a oil from her for $4 and it has improved my eyebrows to look fuller. (where the ingrown hairs are at) I normally don't do my eyebrows but since i have came/met tajira it has been a major eyebrow game changer. Nancy was recommended by a friend, and I could not be more thankful. I loved my quality cut and the surprisingly very affordable cost. Amazing service with Tracey! I couldn't be happier with my eyebrows. She was so professional and made the whole experience stress free. She talked through the whole process beforehand and answered all of my questions and then provided me with an instruction sheet after for how to care for my brows after. This review is long over due for Tracey.  I got my permanent eyeliner redone by Tracey in May and she did a fantastic job.  She did it quickly and I had no bruising whatsoever.  I get very anxious when anything comes near my eyes and I she did both my top and bottom eyeliner.  But Tracey knew how to deal with the situation and got the job done.  Now I look great again!  Thanks Tracey!
