Love love love this place. I'm newer to the state and it was hard finding a new salon to trust and go to but both times I've gone in for color and cut have been amazing. Dominque does an AMAZING job I showed him my idea and told him to work his magic and he definitely does. First time I visited I went platinum and my hair had great dimension he blew me away. Just went in today and wanted to go completely dark brown told him to go with what he thinks would look best and yet again killed it. Absolutely loving it! Love this place! Amy is a color genius! I had a faded out ombré and really just wanted to get back to my natural color and she did a fabulous job matching the color and adding dimension. She worked with me to make sure I was happy and educated on the best way to go about it. I then had my hair cut by Nikki and she was friendly, funny and detailed! She was there ALL DAY and still had a great attitude and made sure not to rush. Society Salon has a great atmosphere, everyone is friendly and the banter between stylists is great. Let me start by saying, I am a professional Ford model and Society Salon, (specifically Dominique for my colour) is the ONLY salon I seriously trust. I have been to NYC, NH, TX, Las Vegas, etc. and have ALWAYS had to come back to Dominique to fix my colour. I mean SERIOUSLY have had my agency tell me to go to these "amazing" hair artists for my color and the wreck my beautiful colour, and ALWAYS end up having to come back to Dom begging him to fix what they did. And he does every time Dominique is one of the best colourists around the U.S. I believe and it's seriously a privilege that I'm able to have him as my hair colourist. I have had Dom do my *signature* beautiful red/auburn hair for yeaaaaars. He does it so well, that not only so I receive a ridiculous amount of compliments on it, EVERYONE THINKS ITS MY REAL HAIR COLOUR! This is so important being a model. Seriously think about if your getting a colour and your colourist can't make it look natural- you need a new one! Anyways. I could be in Greece, or France, or whenever and I will literally fly back to have Dominique do my hair. No joke. I also have had amazing cuts by Felix and he is phenomenal. Had an amazing cut and color with Angela! She is so engaging and listened to what I wanted, had a great conversation and am definitely coming back to see her! Very happy with Angela! This was my first time in and I was nervous since my hair is so long and didn't want to lose too much length. Angela listened to me and took her time, making sure my hair was cut exactly how I wanted it. They did come around during the cut to ask when to book my next appointment. I declined and said I wasn't sure yet, but after seeing the awesome job Angela did, we talked about when I should come in next (because I'm wanting to keep my length) and scheduled me out 3 months. Had such a great experience here! Megan did my color and Angela did my cut. Both spent time prior to the start making sure we were on the same page about what exactly I wanted. I appreciated their attention to detail amd skill level! The cut and colors do take longer than at a "normal" salon, but they value quality and precision and the finished product was well worth it! The feel of the salon is really upbeat and positive, observing interactions between the stylists and colorists, it seemed like everyone really got along, respected eachother, and were genuinley having a good time. I called the day of for a very extensive hair appointment before going to an important event and the receptionist kindly examined the day and miraculously worked with the stylists and got me in! My stylist was Nikki... She is exceptional. Not only does she have great skills (I felt so safe trusting her with my hair happiness! Lol!) but she also has amazing conversation! Such an interesting person. She definitely adds to the uniqueness of the entire salon. You walk into the salon and it's like ...a hair oasis! I recommend this salon to everyone for everything! The salon is filled with so many genuine and one of a kind stylists and staff. Not to mention the amazing owners and their lovely mother who happened to be present the day of my appointment. It was an absolutely delightful experience. She was professional, knowledgeable and just the right amount of friendly. So I came here for a blowout party with 10 girlfriends. I had Logan do my blowout and she was very pleasant and sweet! She had me do a sweet pea & pepper mint conditioning treatment since my hair was just a bit dry from my Yucatan Vacation! The salon itself I felt lacked a bit of realistic scheduling when it came to timing blowouts. I typically get blowouts done within 30 minutes each of our blowouts here took at least 45 minutesMyself personally I was not thrilled with this scent as I walked into the salon. I would recommend freshening it up by opening the doors and maybe getting a candle.I am so grateful for the patio for waiting it was a beautiful day and the patio had a very comfortable seating for all of us to talk and hang out. I've been a customer of Society Salon for about four years. Prior to that, it took a year of on/off searching to find a stylist capable of caring for ethnic hair in the desert. I see Dominique for my relaxers and Adam for all other services (wash/blow dry, cuts, etc). I've also had great experiences with Sylvia, Melissa and Amy! I've recommended them to family and friends of all ethnic backgrounds, hair lengths, textures and ages (from toddlers to grandmas) and they've shared in my same great experience. If you're looking for an salon with amazing stylist then look no further! Society salon has every service available from color, cuts, high fashion hair or your simple blowout and flat iron! I've been a client with them for over 10 years and I've always been impressed with the level of efficiency and proficiency! I actuality have seen quite a few of the stylist here and not because I didn't like one or the other but I was always confident about their level of expertise and education they have about hair. I have Afro textured hair which I'm always a little worried about when trying a new stylist or salon, but here I was and always have been completely comfortable and satisfied with my services! I absolutely LOVE this salon. One of the best salons I've ever been to. I've been seeing Adam for 8 or 9 years and he NEVER disappoints! My hair is so much healthier, longer, stronger and more beautiful than before! I am literally guaranteed to get stopped at least 2 or 3 times after leaving Society by someone wanting to know who does my hair. Coming to Society Salon is truly like a mini vacay. I don't have to worry about anything once I hit the front door. I always know they are going to take care of me. More importantly, they care about more than just getting you in and out. I have been going to see Adam for years since I was in high school. I travel for work a lot and it's always one of my first stops to see Adam and his crew when I come to Arizona. I have thick natural curly hair with no relaxer. I've gotten it colored and have maintained my length over the years. My entire family sees Adam, Caleb and Dominique exclusively.
