Okay I just want to start off by saying that this DJ is legit. I know I'm going to sound like a cliche but music is life and it is very important for me to have music as the main event not just for background. If I'm going to go to attend a club or an event the Ambiance and the people are not as important to me as the music that is being played in the background. The music completes and helps create lasting memories. I may have a drink or two okay four but I'm still listening to the music the Mixing the beats the sound all of it, it sets the mood for me and is very common that I walk into an event and hear a DJ playing their pop top 40 remixed on repeat. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
This is a great question. So many DJ's today have lost the art of reading a crowd. Its a necessity for any party whether you're in the living room or the biggest club in Los Angeles connecting with a crowd allows a DJ to feel the energy and vibe in the room and a great DJ will be able to harness that vibe and lead a crowd on a journey that will cause you to lose track of time well into the Afterhours and even the following day. That is the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My preferred style is cutting edge house music, with a flare of 80's and 90's throwback remixes of tracks we all love and remember.
What do you love most about your job?
This isn't a job. Its my passion, I love every aspect of the process. truly. This passion was discovered by chance and I am forever thankful. If I had to pick the thing I love most about DJing its when I see someone connect to my music for the very first time its a heart warming feeling watching someone throw their worries to the wind and just let loose in their own weird way without worry of judgement or ridicule and enjoy themselves even if only for a moment.
