We recently had an event catered and everything was great. The process was smooth and the food was delicious! They provided a variety of food and I couldn't ask for better service. They have an awesome feature where they text/email you when they are on their way and when they arrive so you don't have to stress about timelines and when they are going to arrive. They set up everything, maintained the buffet throughout the event and were quick and efficient with both set up and clean up. This is the second year that we used Smokin" Steve's Catering for our event and they exceeded our expectations again! We had the grilled chicken, potato salad, dinner salad, mac and cheese, and the assorted brownies and cookies for 25 guests. Steve's showed up right on time, set-up, and our guest thoroughly enjoyed the food. One of the things we noticed is that both times we have used Steve's catering we had a significant amount of food left over for the next day. Smokin Steve's catered my son's graduation party 6-9-2018. From the start, Susan who has been absolutely fabulous and professional informed us of all fees and prices and there was 100% transparency. The buffet at the party ran smoothly and Ricardo/Bernadette (my two attendants) were exceptional and professional. Very attentive and helpful. Food was exceptional! Received a lot of compliments on the food (we got the tri-tip and chicken breast). Overall Smokin Steve's is a top notch caterer and we highly recommend them not only for their professionalism but for fabulous food your guests will enjoy and remember. I did read past reviews and all companies do learn and grow from past experiences so we decided to go with Smokin Steve's because 1) they were recommended by a friend and 2) you could tell they had made positive changes when working with clients to ensure a successful event. I honestly feel that with Smokin Steve;s new facility, their fabulous staff, and their passion to give each event their #1 attention, they are definitely striving to be the best BBQ caterer in Ventura and LA county.
