OMG! Worth the stop! It's easy to get to off the highway. We tried the sampler platter with a side of sliced brisket and it was fantastic! The ribs are phenomenal! Best I've ever had! The brisket is tender and flavorful, the bologna is yummy and the sausage was just spicy enough with lots of flavor. A little hole in the wall stop with excellent BBQ and customer service. You can't go wrong pulling off I-40 and stopping here for lunch. They ran out of pulled pork, apparently the locals hit this early. Burnt ends were the special of the day and we had to get them too. We had smoked brisket sliced and another chopped on a sandwich plus a brisket baked potato. All were flavorful and just knock out delicious! They are tables inside and picnic tables outside. More...

I had the pleasure of feasting on the chopped chicken, the brisket and the macaroni and cheese today at the Southfield Town Center where the food truck was stationed. Everything was delicious and there wasnt a crumb left over from all of us who had lunch. The food is great, the BBQ sauces are very tasty and each have their own levels of heat. If we had to find something to gripe about it would be the lack of tops for the BBQ sauce containers (so we can save the leftover sauce for future eating endevours!!)I look forward to their next visit here to Southfield. Such fantastic bbq is hard to find anywhere, let alone in the middle of nowhere. We stopped based upon the 5 star reviews. Â The food is superb, the decor is cool and the waitress was delightful. They are only open on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays from 11am to 8pm. So we were fortunate to be driving home this route on Thursday evening. The brisket was tender, smoked perfectly and scrumptious!! Â My sides of beans and slaw were perfect, too. If you live anywhere close get here as fast as you can. We had these wonderful people come to our church for Food Truck Sunday last week. The food was incredible! I felt bad for the other vendors because the smells coming out of this truck drew us all in. I heard no complaints as everyone was quietly devouring everything that was put before them The pulled pork was delicious, the the chopped chicken was tender and juicy, and the ribs were succulent! And the sauces... The hot was flavorful and zingy and the Ghost Pepper was the best I've ever had! Hot, without burning you to the ground. Smoke Ring catered our wedding, and two weeks later, our guests are still talking about it. His food was a BIG hit! The only negative was how slow our food line was moving. 5 stars! Steve and Courtney catered my son's graduation open house for approximately 200 people this past weekend 6/16/18 and the food was incredible! I received numerous compliments from our guests, including those who are big into smoking BBQ meats... We had ribs, beans, mac & cheese, cole slaw, pulled pork and brisket along with homemade BBQ sauces. They showed up right on time, brought everything needed, and our party was rolling in an instant. What can I say? Sure I could say it was amazing, I could say it was the best I've ever had.
Period.
But even then I wouldn't be doing it justice. So, it's so good I can't even come up with a word that gives their pulled pork justice.

We happened to drive by it when we were headed to Houston and saw how crowded it was so we stopped. We were not disappointed. We had smoked chicken salad sandwich on toasted bread. This is a restaurant stand inside Angels Stadium just an FYI. The Smoked BBQ Brisket sandwich was very good and served with cole slaw, beans and cornbread. If possible, I'd give this gem a 6+!  We always stop here for the best BBQ I've ever had! True smoked flavor throughout  the meat. The potato salad, smoked beans and. slaw are delicious! My husband and I stopped here 30 min before close to get some take out. Afraid we might be met with irritation because it was so late, we were weary to go but really wanted to try it due to reviews. I just want to say, the two lady's that greeted us when we walked in couldn't have been more welcoming than our own families! Food was great and service was better! This is a BBQ stand inside Angel Stadium.It is one of the better food choices in a stadium where the food is generally below the average of most major league stadiums. The Smoked BBQ Brisket sandwich was very good and served with cole slaw, beans and cornbread. The quality of the meat and bun were excellent. The beans could have been more flavorful as could the cole slaw. I did enjoy the cornbread.Service is friendly and they are working hard.
