I went to sixth union because it was time for a change, and I didn't realize how great the results were going to be! I trained under Michael for 6 months and lost 10 - 12% of my body fat and 22lbs. Beyond the results it was cool to hear him talk about the process. Micheal is an awesome trainer. I had been looking to make a change in my fitness routine, and from the first meeting with Michael, I knew this was the right place for me. He took the time to educate me and also listen to me about my previous fitness experience and my goals. During our first few sessions, he took the time to do a functional movement assessment and correct my form and bad habits I had picked up at other gyms. After working out with the same trainer for two years, I was put in a situation to find a new one. I took the time to research and interview several gyms and trainers before selecting Michael at Sixth Union Fitness. Michael took the time to listen about my past work out sessions, goals and performed a movement assessment. I was surprised I'd never had something like that done before when previously consulting with trainers. And due to previous injuries, I feel like it is very beneficial. I felt confident with their knowledge and expertise and I immediately signed up for 3x/wk training sessions with Shanni. As a former gymnast as well, she understands the injuries/capabilities related with that history and challenges me well. I am a "young" senior and decided it was time to get in shape, I had let myself go too long. I have arthritis in my hip and suffered a minor stroke. I could only make it through the day with multiple doses of Advil, masking the pain. I have been working with Michael for nearly 3 months and the results are amazing. My mobility and strength have dramatically improved, I rarely have pain in my hip as compared to when we began. I am significantly more active now that I have began rebuilding strength. His focus on my well-being and the ability he has to rebuild my confidence is transformational, for that, I am truly Thankful. He encourages me to keep on track, through his continual education on what healthy is for me and how I will make the difference in my wellness. Michael is fantastic at injury prevention (prehab) and building muscle. I've had to stop multiple workout types due to weak joints. Working with Michael I added 10 pounds of muscle with zero injuries, and massively improved my form and core strength, as well as appearance. He's a former physical therapist as well, and his knowledge of joints, proper form, stretching, prehab/rehab, and a dozen other aspects of training is excellent. worked in the Fitness field over 7 years, and in my time Michael has been the most educated, motivating, and caring trainer I had the privilege to work with. Leaving the fitness world made it difficult to keep fitness a top priority, and had gained a good amount of weight. I joined sixth union to participate in group classes with Michael about 7 months ago. I have been amazed with how great the program is! I have gained a newfound sense of confidence, motivation, and strength. Michael is incredibly knowledgable about nutrition and kinesthetics. Michael is by far one of the best trainers out there! I have been training with him for over 2 years now and can honestly say I am a better person for it. I had back surgery almost three years ago and thankfully Michael reached out to me to help me through my healing process. He was very patient with me as I was anxious to get back into weight training and working out in general. He caters each training session to what your goals are and how your body is feeling. Michael is very knowledgeable and continues to further his education which is comforting knowing he is driven to push himself as a trainer! We find comfort in knowing that there isn't a client that we can't help reach their personal goals. It is our mission to continue education in order to give our clients the best service possible. However, make no mistake there is a reason that "Personal" comes before "Trainer". The reason why we love what we do comes from relationships we build with our clients, and the feeling of family we have created.

We are Currently home the only two Certified Amazing 12 Transformation Coaches in Colorado.
We specialize in Body Transformation Programs, Corrective Exercise, Strength Training, Sport Performance, Functional Movement Patterns, and Overall Health. Our Education includes a B.S. In Exercise Science and Kinesiology from CMU. Amazing 12 Transformation Coach, Certified RKC Kettlebell Instructor, FMS 1 & 2, NCSF CPT, NCSF Sports Nutrition Specialist, Rock Blade Soft Tissue Specialist, and USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach. I personally have been in the fitness industry since 2009 and have serviced well over 40,000 personal training sessions and counting.

Consistency and Adherence are ultimately what drives real, long lasting results. After all what is the point in having the worlds best programing if the client refuses to follow it. It is up to us as coaches and educated fitness professionals to design the best possible program that will match both the goals and the lifestyle of the individual.

At the end of the day I do what I do because of the people that allow me to be a part of their life. It isn't enough for me to just help you get in shape, I want to help transform and improve ever aspect of your life. The "Sixth Union" to me is what first got me hooked on helping people. The Sixth Union is a synergistic harmony of the the six main components of fitness. Resistance Training, Mobility/Stability, Cardiovascular Endurance, Nutrition, Supplementation/ Recovery, and Behaviors/ Habits. Once an individual obtains harmony in all of the components is when real life changing results happen, not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually, and even financially. These individuals believe so intensely in what we do that they begin to positively impact those around them. For me that is the root cause of what I do. I wish to empower those to live the life they dream of, and leave a lasting impact on their community.

To be honest, After working for many years in a management position at a corporate gym, I felt like I was getting further and further away from what mattered most to me. Helping people. Luckily my life changed when I was selected to be one of the first Certified Amazing 12 Transformation Coach in the US. As a certified Coach we were not allowed to sell our services in a large corporate setting thus motivating me to venture out on my own. Little did I know that it would be the most empowering and liberating experience of my life. It has allowed me to reconnect with my passion and has given me the freedom and creativity to form my business/ life in to whatever I wish it to be.

I believe the same answer can be given when asked in a previous question "what do I love most about my job?"
In addition to my continued education and experience the route cause of why I believe I am the best choice is simply because I care. I want you to succeed more than you want you to succeed, and will go to great lengths in order to prove it. Private Training is the ideal option for clients of all capabilities and experience levels. Our hands on, one on one approach will put you on the fast track to achieving your goals while also building the appropriate baseline before joining some of our more intensive programs such as The Amazing 12 Transformation. This option is 100% individualized to your specific needs and goals allowing you to pick and choose from the various methods we offer in order to create a well rounded enjoyable program that will work with your current lifestyle. It is our goal with Group Training to offer programming similar to what you receive in private training, at a price that everyone can afford. We believe that life changing results should be affordable to anyone willing to put in the work. These fun, high energy Sessions are limited to a maximum of 4 people, which allows our clients to become very close with one another, and our trainers to deliver the best service possible. It is our belief that many clients fall short of their aspirations due to lack of both support and accountability. This small group focus is unlike what you would expect from some of the larger gyms. Topics range from corrective exercise to power lifting and everything in between. We have only one goal in mind… get results!

With a background in Physical Therapy we us a holistic approach to both proactive and reactive therapies. Our primary assessments for all clients begin with the industries gold standard Functional Movement Systems (FMS) in addition to a personalized Muscle Activation Technique mobility chart. Some of the other modalities made available to our clients include: Trigger Point Therapy, Rock Tape, Rock Blades, Percussions Therapy, Electronic Stimulation Therapy, all in addition to access to our very own network of health care professionals.

1. Online Programming
Daily custom online workouts directly to your phone. Each workout comes with exact directions and a tutorial video to demonstrate correct form and technique. No equipment needed, this allows you to work out at home or somewhere else on your own time.

2. Online Nutrition
Pick a meal plan based on your fitness goals directly through the mobile app. You can customize every meal to your preferred taste or dietary requirements.

3. Mobility
Mobility training can improve the range of motion of your joints and muscles which can assist in improving your posture. Mobility training can alleviate 'everyday' aches and pains as well as improve our body awareness. So we've added an entire library of movements to help increase you mobility that you can access straight from the app.
