I absolutely love this place. The owners are nice . It is always clean in the bakery. My favorite cupcakes are strawberry lemonade, snicker doodle, strawberry, cotton candy, and the one that looks like a mini wedding cake. I have tried all of them within 1 year. My matrons and maid of honor selected my shower cake and it couldn't have been more beautiful and tasty. The top layer was a moist strawberry and the bottom was my all-time favorite Italian creme. This is by far ONE of the best, if not the BEST bakery in the DFW area, I've been ordering desserts from Sinsational Cakes for well over five years I've had it ALL cakes, cupcakes and those Brownies MY GOODNESS they are so delicious the recipes they come up with you wouldn't think could taste so delightful but that's what I love about them I will FOREVER be a loyal customer matter of fact I got my Sister to order her wedding cake from here I told her that was the only way I would help pay for it �

My husband and I had what we wanted for our 2nd reception in mind when we visited Texas for Christmas with our families. Well, we went to what we thought was our first choice bakery to sample cakes and discovered that their buttercream frosting tasted just like a stick of butter. Back at square one and with only one day left in our trip, we searched for a bakery nearby. When we found Sinsational Cakes, we went straight over to buy some cupcakes to try out.

Well, when they found out we were shopping for a wedding cake they said that if we'd made an appointment they would have had things ready for us and instead gave us the cupcakes we'd planned to buy as our samples. We took them home and were so pleased with the product that we went back the next day before our flight home to order our cake.

Consultation was quick and easy, and we got to sample a couple of flavors that they had run out of the day before.

The decoration was perfect, and all of our guests loved every flavor. Each tier was a different flavor. Snickerdoodle, red velvet, chocolate, and vanilla. Snickerdoodle especially got a lot of comments, since it's not common to have a cinnamon-y cake flavor like that. I highly recommend it!

If we ever have need for a special occasion cake again, we will definitely use Sinsational Cakes by YaYa! More...

Lord have mercy these ladies know what they are doing! Went in the shop today to pick up a cake for work and I decided to get a few cupcakes for the family. I had a miscommunication (which was my fault) about my cake and these lovely ladies helped me out in a short amount of time. The cake design was quick, but still beautiful, tasted great and was gone by the end of my baby's party! Thirty minutes before entering Sinsational cakes we had the most Horrible experience at Texas Star bakery in Hurst! We have never been treated so badly patronizing a merchant in my life! We will never patronize this bakery again! We went to Texas Star bakery to order cupcakes and a graduation cake for our children, when after waiting 15 minutes we were approached by a very impatient, seemingly frustrated service rep who clearly did not want to take the time to take our order! He at one point told us to hold on to help another patron. Yes granted they were busy, but I was told that I needed to come in this weekend to order the cake to ensure timely delivery. Leaving very frustrated and angry we decided to go to Sinsational Cakes. (Really this was my first choice but wanted a bakery a little closer to my home). The beautiful ladies not only approached us with a warm greeting,but answered every one of our questions! They gave us suggestions on making a beautiful graduation cake and cupcakes. Your child's graduation is an emotional and very important time, not only was sensational cakes attentive to all of our needs they showed us compassion! For my daughter's 2nd birthday party, my wife tasked me with getting the cake. After looking online at some reviews of different bakeries in the area I decided to give Sinsational Cakes a visit to see what they could come up with. I explained that we were doing a Wizard of Oz theme and wanted a cake that embodied that. I spoke with Nicole at the store and took home a few cupcakes to have my wife and daughter try out the flavors and decide. The vanilla and chocolate were awesome but the strawberry hands down took the cake. LOL Nicole provided me several options and after tasting several of their cakes I opted to do a three-tier that included strawberry chocolate and vanilla that embodied the theme we wanted. The entire process went very smoothly and it was ready exactly when she said it was. No surprises. The guests were absolutely raving about how delicious the cake was and everybody made comments about how awesome it looked. One thing I do have to say is I was impressed that for the size and detail she put into the cake they did not use fondant, which I know my wife is not a huge fan of.
