What do you love most about your job?
I love to meet new people every day on their journey through healing. Each person I have met has their own unique life story and it is a privilege to watch people grow and find their way through the hard times in life.
It is truly an honor to have a therapateutic relationship with people from all walks of life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Silver Linings has been in the making for a very long time. Ever since I was a child, I knew I wanted to help people in some manner. When I was in my teenage years, I tried counseling to help me through some difficult times . I was amazed by the profound impact that my counselor had in my own self discovery and healing. I knew that this is what I wanted to do. I gained a lot of experience by working in several different areas of counseling, but always knew that I would open my own practice in order to provide my own style and unique approach to working with clients. The name Silver Linings came to me even before I received my degree. It is a symbol of hope even during the darkest times in life.
Why should our clients choose you?
I believe that I have a well rounded background of experience in the mental health field. My approach is very person centered, with a focus on your holistic being, not“what’s wrong with you” . My motto is that I am not the expert of you....only you are the expert of yourself. I focus on the positives and the uniqueness of each person who walks through my door. I also think that I am professional with a great sense of humor. My office is set up to be “the Spa for the Mind” as it is a safe , relaxing environment that one can feel they are in a spa instead of an office.
