We have been renting a vacation home at Sandbridge since 2006. After trying a number of houses (and realtors), we settled on Smooth Sailing (and Siebert Realty). The current owners did a wonderful job with the remodel a number of years ago making it our dream beach house. We can even bring our dog with us which makes it perfect. Pool, hot tub and it's just across the street from a beach access path. It's our home away from home for two weeks in the fall, and we start counting down the days to the next trip as soon as we are on our way home. Beautiful accommodation, we stayed at freedom of the sea oceanfront in the sanctuary condos. Booking on-line was super easy and the lay a way plan was a plus. Check in and out was super quick. We arrived at Nick's Place and everything was in great shape for us for the week. There was one small issue with the outside deck stairs during the week. We barely had hung up the phone with Siebert and Siebert staff was there to addess the matter and resolve it. Couldn't ask for a better response. My family and I have been VA Beach vacationers and utilized Siebert Realty for multiple summers. My college girlfriends and I go to Sandbridge every year for a girls' weekend to get away and catch up. We've used Siebert Realty every year, and our experience is always wonderful. The very few times we've had the smallest issue with our property (a smoke detector was beeping one year, and another we had a non-flushing toilet), the staff has been very responsive, and the problems were promptly fixed. We have now rented a vacation home or condo from Siebert Realty for the third and could not be happier. Their reservation process was a breeze, questions answered rapidly (from rental contract to “is there a specific coffee maker”), and any less than 100% issue resolved quickly. Our family has rented a vacation home with Siebert reality for 3 years now. Last year we stayed at "North Star". Everything about our stay was wonderful. The home was beautiful and had the best view right on the ocean. We were able to dolphin watch from the deck and even saw a humpback whale! I have booked rentals through Siebert Realty a couple of times and have always had an amazing experience. This past spring, I booked “No Comparison Bayside” for a larger group, and it was perfect. There was a lot of space to both relax and sleep. It was clean and nicely decorated. The indoor pool was a great option for people who prefer the pool to the ocean, and it was great for evenings or when the weather wasn’t great. The house was very close to the beach. For the past five years, we’ve rented our family summer vacation place with Siebert Reality, except for one year. We regretted it immediately, and are back to stay! My family rented at the Sanctuary in Sandbridge Beach twice. The Condos were large with ample space. They were clean upon arrival. The building is such that you do not hear your neighbors and they are private. Loved the pool with swim up bar. Only suggestion is that one of the larger pools be designated for over 18 only. We have rented our 2nd home from Siebert. Last year we had Attitude Adjustment, this year Dreamweaver. We for many years went to the Outer Banks in NC. Since Sandbridge is about 3 hours closer to NYC, the shorter drive really makes a difference. Although OBX is a little less expensive and there is a bigger selection of homes. But again the 3 hour drive savings is huge.Check in and check out is very fast. Last years home - Pros:It was only a year old pool was very very clean, seemed like a saltwater pool. Maintenance cleaned it 3 times during the week. We didn't call, maybe it's the homeowner's arrangement. Anyway we sure liked the clean clear water. One of the best pools we've ever had.Very well decorated, nice quality furniture. Landscape very well maintained. Great location. Cons:Home ran out of Gas for the stove on the last day. Someone came to the house before the 10am check out, went into the house, no greetings, and kind of block our car in as we were the last car about to leave, left the great week with a little strange feeling. The cleaning wasn't very good, had to clean the Kitchen Island ourselves.This years home Pros:Slightly older home, but still in great condition. Very well maintained. House layout is really good. Housekeepers for this home was one of the better ones. Home was very clean. Homes in OBX often have a lot of dust, especially in the vents and hard to get areas. Couldn't see much dust in this place. Very high quality Kitchenware. Nice cups and dishes.Cons:The pool water was very hazy. When swimming under water very hard to see. The bunk beds need some attention. The metal bunk beds are so squeeky it made it hard for the kids to sleep when anyone moved in their bed. The other bunk bed room beds need to fix the undersides of the beds - Fabric coming down, so the person on the bottom bunk sees a bunch of fabrid hanging in their face.Of the few times we had to call Siebert, the workers have been helpful and courteous.
