Chicken Teriyaki at Shiners in downtown Tavares. Obviously we didn’t like it AT ALL but seriously... it was delicious and those hand cut baked fries Please visit this new restaurant!!! YUM!!!

So...our 1st experience was not 5 Star! Both couples ordered the Shiner Feast to share ($21.99). Three portions of smoked meat: Ribs, chicken quarter and pulled pork with 2 slices of Texas toast and 2 sides. The server came back to let us know they were out of chicken (early on Friday evening) but did give us the option of doubling up on one the other meats or a discount. We opted for extra ribs. When the food came, the ribs were cold and the fries were limp(we had requested extra crispy). The ribs had BBQ sauce on them and they were tender and tasty. The pulled pork came without sauce and there was none on the table and none was offered because the server didn't come back till we were almost done. There was someone who appeared to be a manager walking around but he never came by either. When the server brought our checks, she did not ask if we enjoyed the meal. We will probably go back sometime to try their sandwiches. Hopefully the next visit will be better. I don't judge a restaurant on one experience. More...
