Ariel was my makeup artist for my wedding at the Ritz Carlton and I can't thank her and her team enough for making me feel like a princess! Ariel went above and beyond any normal vendor responsibilities and I feel so lucky to have connected with her in such a special way. She jumped right in to help me decide on nail and lip colors and quickly helped resolved an external issue around hiring a 3rd hair artist from her network. She made it easy for me to feel like a bride, eliminating complicated choices and allowing me to feel at ease with the million decisions and scheduling. Ariel looked radiant and demonstrated incredible professionalism easily moving between advising and applying makeup for my grandmothers, mothers and friends. I felt like royalty sitting in the chair watching her transform me (and helping me calm down on the wedding day). This review is long over due. Ariel is amazing! She's excellent in her craft. Not only does she make suggestions on what looks good and suits you, she explains everything she's doing step by step to make you feel comfortable:) Not to mention her lashes last! Ariel is full of Aloha-warm, welcoming good vibes! Her studio is the same, with lovely vintage Hawaiian touches! You definitely feel relaxed right away. As for the services... Being a first timer to lashes I didn't know what to expect. Not only was I blown away by the results the entire experience was very relaxing (I even dozed off-so rare)! Had my lashes done for the first time today. Ariel is super sweet and professional. She did an amazing job giving me natural looking lashes that save me time in the morning since I'm ditching my mascara and eyeliner. Thank you Ariel!

After seeing amazing photos of eyelash extensions from Shine Beauty Studio, I thought I should give Ariel a try. I was VERY pleased with the results. I'm pretty particular about eyelash extensions, I tried it a few times in the past at different salons and didn't love how they felt. They always seemed to get tangled or they would fall out. I told Ariel about my past experiences and she really listened to me. On top of that, she picked lashes that looked really natural given my eye and eyebrow shape. Im Asian so eyelash extensions can often look too long and unnatural on my face. Ariel made sure the correct length was used. I LOVE my lashes now. Overall they look enhanced without looking fake. So glad I came across Ariel and Shine Beauty Studio. Ariel is so delicate with her application and coming to see her to get my lashes done is always a treat. Ariel is the best. She takes the time to analyze the shape of your eye and determines how she will apply the lash extensions. That in itself is a testament to how thoughtful and informed she is on what she does. Her work is gorgeous, long lasting, and I always get compliments on how beautiful my lashes are. Ariel is the best! She genuinely cares about her clients happiness! Prices are extremely reasonable for quality service! My eyelash extensions turned out beautifully-- very natural looking just like I wanted for a trip to Hawaii! Ariel is also very talented in makeup and hair for special occasions. I can't say enough good things about my experiences so far with shine beauty studio! I'd wanted eyelash extensions for awhile, but I really wanted to make sure whoever was playing near my eyeballs knew what they were doing. A friend of mine spoke highly of Ariel so I gave her a go and I'm so glad I did! The vibe here is so relaxing and Ariel is such a doll. Kismet! I thank my cosmic lucky stars that a friend referred me here. I don't typically write reviews, and am a bit hesitant for fear I will not be able to book, but I can't let this gem go unnoticed. Ariel is an amazingly warm and open woman, incredibly diverse in her background, and accomplished in her professional experience. Since my first encounter at Shine Beauty Studio for eyelash extensions, I continue to return and add services. Ariel recognizes my individual style and has tailored my services to fit my needs, such that, I have broken up with both my long-term massage therapist and aesthetician (I hope they are not on yelp). Shine Beauty Studio is set up to be a sanctuary for relaxation and beauty. Though I combo my visits, I never feel rushed, and alway leave feeling refreshed and glowing. Every time I have my eyelashes touched up, I fall asleep. Ditto for massage. Not only does the massage relax me, but I feel as though I had a really cathartic yoga meditation session. Typically for facials, I dread going for this must-have service (adult acne is a bitch). Ariel is so skilled she makes the facial feel more like a face focused massage, and she recognizes my skin type so that I have lengthened the time between treatments. Her recommendations for skin regimen has my skin really happy.As for my initial introduction to Ariel, my eyelashes look so natural it took several months for my friends and family to recognize that they were extensions. Since becoming a regular at Shine Beauty Studio, I feel more overall complete, polished, and maybe it sounds weird but balanced.
