I took my newborn to Shameless Photography - Pin Up for a newborn photo shoot. What a great lady who was great to work with and was wonderful with my daughter. She was patient and gentle. The studio was great too with a lot of props and an environment where my newborn could relax and feel comfortable. I felt the same as well. The pics came out so cool. The experience alone was worth the investment. I appreciated the model questioner. But what truly impressed me were Sophie’s follow-up questions and invitation to me to be open and artistic. The more I shared with Sophie, the more she showed that she understood my vision.Sophie transformed my aesthetic concepts from words to elegant outfits, capturing the moods I wanted to create. Yet she gave me plenty of choices and all the time I needed to feel myself in the clothes. She encouraged me to allow my instincts to choose. The hair and makeup team were as intuitive, thoughtful and detail oriented as Sophie. They had the confidence to do a fabulous job without any input from me. Yet they took the time to understand my preference and help me make the must suitable choices for myself. Preparing for the shoot was a pampering experience of an elegant lady with three beautiful women helping her dress for a gala. I was amazed that Sophie sketched out several poses for me to go along with each outfit. The poses illustrated the archetypes I wanted to bring out in the photo session. Sophie took cues from my Pinterest inspiration board and took every detail from my questioner and our email exchanges into consideration. She added details with props and angles to capture the aesthetics I wanted to achieve. I wanted my photos to be elegant with a twist of fetish. I recently had pin-up style photos done at Shameless Photography's NYC studio. The photos were a gift for my boyfriend for his 50th birthday, and to say they were a hit is an understatement! He absolutely loved them! I initially wanted retro boudoir photos done, but he is huge fan of the pin-ups from the 40's and 50's. Shameless was the only studio I could find that did them. My experience was perfect in every way. My stylists used some pictures I brought as inspiration, and transformed me into a stunningly beautiful, sexy and confident woman...a far cry from what I really am. Angela, my photographer, was fun and easy to work with. I adore my photos, and I usually hide from cameras. I can't say enough good things about Shameless Photography, those three ladies, or the time I spent there. All I can say is, Wow! From beginning to end my experience at Shameless was nothing short of incredible. Two words come to mind: Innovative and Professional. The ladies all worked together to take my small ideas and combine them to create the big picture, which were some pretty incredible images.Angela is without a doubt the best photographer I have ever worked with in all my time modeling. What an amazing experience! From the moment I arrived I was put at ease by the wonderful staff and the fun space where the photo shoot took place. Maxine and her crew made me feel like a star! The images I wanted weren't boudoir in nature as I was focusing on pictures to be used in connection with my writing career and recreating the glamorous photos from Hollywood's golden era of the 40's and 50's and Shameless had a wonderful array of outfits for me to choose from and even allowed me to include some personal books of my own. I recommend Shameless Photography for any woman who wants to experience being a model (it's not as easy as it looks in the final product!), be treated like a queen (that includes hair and makeup!) and come out with images that are beautiful! I gave myself the gift of a pin up, boudoir photo shoot on May 15th. From the time I booked my shoot, I was aware that this experience would be unique and special. I felt a personal touch from all of the staff, I was asked to answer a questionnaire a few weeks before my shoot and really appreciated the opportunity to share my story, interests and hopes for my photo shoot. Shameless Photography is the absolute best! I had my photo shoot in June with Maxine Nienow. From start to finish, she and her team were fun, professional, and helped me find my inner retro/pinup/boudoir goddess. After five years of marriage and a baby, I wanted something special for my husband... instead, we both get something unique and inspiring out of the deal - he gets AWESOME pictures of me to enjoy, and I had the experience of a lifetime. The studio is so comfortable and relaxing, and Maxine and her team work to make sure you are comfortable and take care of every single thing you can imagine. I had a wonderful experience with the Shameless team. Each and every one of these ladies were wonderful! They made me feel beautiful, special and comfortable which is no easy task! They treated me like a princess for the entire day. My hair and make-up came out beautifully, they helped me choose an outfit from their bountiful closet, made sure I was hydrated and snacking (it's a long process) and were genuinely invested in creating a beautiful photo. I could write a lengthy review about how incredible my experience was at Shameless San Francisco but I will keep it as short as possible. I had been going through some personal issues with my body and wanted to do something for myself to help my self esteem, I found Shameless and decided it was perfect so for a gift for myself for my 35th birthday I booked a shoot. Sophie was amazing, she made me feel comfortable right away and with her amazing talent I knew she would make me look beautiful no matter how frumpy I was feeling. It was so great having a full service photo shoot with makeup, hair, wardrobe... everything I needed. I just had to show up. This was a life changing experience for me, I have never felt so beautiful in my life and now if I ever have any doubts, I can look back at my incredible photos and remember that I can look that way. Working with Maxine and the girls was like kicking back with old friends!I walked in not knowing what to expect and a little nervous to be doing something like this, but walked away with some new friends and a new found confidence about myself. I originally did the shoot as a wedding gift for my husband-to-be, but when I got them back ended up loving them so much that I felt as if it was a little gift for me. Prepare to have your mind blown! I did a boudoir shoot at Shameless last year and I was completely amazed by the images -- and also how much FUN the process was. Sophie captured a side of me I didn't know was there! I'm no natural model, but she managed to make it all so easy, and my sultry, glamorous side finally got to come out and play. I just recently received my final images from Sophie Spinelle and I am floored!! They are unbelievable! She was truly such a delight to work with. I was a bit shy and intimidated walking in there to do the shoot but Sophie's warm and charesmatic vibe made me feel so comfortable in my own skin. I felt like a little girl playing dress up. The hair and make up was superb and there was no rush. Sophie took her time to get the perfect pictures, The proofs were hard to choose from because there were so many great ones! I was nervous all the way to my photo shoot, but have to say that once I met Sophie and Carey, I relaxed instantly. They made me feel like we've known each other for years. We laughed, joked, told stories...the day couldn't have been better. They made me feel so beautiful and special.
