Garrett and SG Entertainment did a wonderful job at our daughter's wedding. Set up was fast, and easily managed. Everyone enjoyed the fun bringing groups to the photo booth, and creating many wonderful memories. The booth was busy for most of the evening, and everyone loved that they could get pictures immediately, but others enjoyed the option to have them emailed to them. What a surprise when we were able to see all the pictures from everyone, from the entire evening! Clean up was a breeze. SG Entertainment DJ'd for our daughter's wedding on 10/19....Garrett was unable to be there personally but did network with other DJ's in the area and he worked with David Holycross to dj for us . .... My sister hired SG Entertainment for her wedding last week after her original DJ cancelled on her just 5 days before the wedding. Garrett was recommended to us by a family friend and immediately offered to help us out-even with the wedding being on HIS wedding anniversary!!! He was very reasonably priced for all he offered (2 sound systems-inside the venue and outside on the deck, different lights, etc) and just the fact that he took on her wedding with only 5 days to prepare. He showed up early to set up, asked a few questions, and then was on his way! He made the ceremony and reception absolutely flawless and a ton of fun! Garrett is Very personable and easy going. They are both wonderful, charismatic, fun-loving people and were a joy to work with! Andrea (photographer for SG) was very professional and knew exactly what she was doing. She gave us direction and captured every moment beautifully! She is upbeat and creative, which is necessary for bridal party pics! What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The secret? If I told you it wouldn't be a secret anymore.
Honestly, it is all about reading your crowd and adjusting your gameplan until you find the right sound. Every party is different.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My favorite music is from the 90's and 2000's, but I play to the crowd's taste. I can roll with whatever is expected of me, so I would say my style is to be a chameleon.
What do you love most about your job?
I love bringing music to an event and taking people that were already happy into a higher state of happiness.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have owned my own business for as long as I can remember. I don't know if I could work for someone anymore. There are moments where job security would be nice, but I wouldn't trade what I do.
Why should our clients choose you?
I offer experience and professionalism at a budget friendly price. Cheap DJs are little more than a P.A. rental. Please be sure to check reviews and cross reference your "cheapest" quote.
