Our goal is to alleviate the stress of planning your event by offering a "one stop shopping" solution. This also equates into savings for the client as we have discounted package deals.

My sister hired SG Entertainment for her wedding last week after her original DJ cancelled on her just 5 days before the wedding. Garrett was recommended to us by a family friend and immediately offered to help us out-even with the wedding being on HIS wedding anniversary!!! He was very reasonably priced for all he offered (2 sound systems-inside the venue and outside on the deck, different lights, etc) and just the fact that he took on her wedding with only 5 days to prepare. He showed up early to set up, asked a few questions, and then was on his way! He made the ceremony and reception absolutely flawless and a ton of fun! Garrett is Very personable and easy going. They are both wonderful, charismatic, fun-loving people and were a joy to work with! Andrea (photographer for SG) was very professional and knew exactly what she was doing. She gave us direction and captured every moment beautifully! She is upbeat and creative, which is necessary for bridal party pics! I hired Garrett for an outdoor wedding ceremony plus reception at Bendix Woods. He was superb! Had everything he needed for music setup in the middle of the woods, in the rain (not an easy thing to do! ). What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
There are songs that will fill the floor and others that will empty it as fast. Diligence pays off. We live and breathe music, from nearly every decade and genre. Once we find something that works we can smoothly transition to that style and keep the party moving.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I love older floor fillers mixed in with current dance songs. Most of my events are weddings with a mix of all ages so I need to cover a broad spectrum of music.
What do you love most about your job?
The best part of the job is that I get to share in one of the biggest moments of their lives. Every week is a new set of smiling, happy people and their creative ways of relaying their love for one another.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always worked for small businesses or myself. I found if I wanted something done right I needed to do it myself. So now I count on myself and a select few pros.
