They catered our work event and everyone loved them.  Great service and really good food.   I had the Elk burgers delicious,  the kids all loved the mac and cheese grilled cheese.   Will definitely use them again.

Oh my word. This food truck is the bomb.com. Our company hired this food truck to come serve the staff and can I say, no one was disappointed. Their menu is fantastic and I had a hard time deciding on what I wanted to eat. I settled on the Blu Turkey which included some blueberry jam, onions, chevre, and arugula on a turkey slider. OMG what a combo. If you've had a few turkey burgers in your life you know that it is very easy for those suckers to get dry. Not these, they were cooked to absolute perfection! Also I don't know what they did to make their slider buns so delicious (I'm guessing butter) but those were just the perfectly toasted pairing for my juicy turkey burger. I also ordered their tots - which the answer is yes - you do want to go for their option of "truffling them up". They are not your traditional cafeteria tots but rather a home-made haystack-like tot. They were dense but also cooked just right! There was nothing I didn't love about this food truck and I would happily order from them again because there were still so many other options  I wanted to try! More...

Serendipity was at the Speedway's Food Truck Fridays at Daredevil Brewery. This was our first Food Truck Friday's at Daredevil Brewery. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate at 44 degrees and rain. However, I really wanted to try the crab cakes and truffle fries so we ignored the weather. All the positive reviews are not wrong! The crab cakes and truffle fries were phenomenal! The crab cakes had very little filler, cooked perfectly and delicious! The truffle fries were also amazing!! I loved the crispy fries and the unique flavor. Not only was the food excellent but the presentation was gorgeous. Not what I expected from a food truck. The owners were super friendly, appreciated I'd seen them on Indy Style and reassured me I'd love my order. I wish they had a storefront. We were lucky enough to take our meals into the Daredevil Brewery to escape the brutal outdoor elements. Their my husband had the Daredevil Octoberfest beer. I look forward to Food Truck Friday returning to Daredevils once Spring returns. More...

I work in the child care center in the State Government Center. Every year, the Statehouse Market invites food trucks from all over Indy to come and be a part of it! I *LITERALLY* look forward to eating the Red Mole Chicken Tacos EVERY. SUMMER. I branched out last year and grabbed one of the weekly grilled cheeses - which actually brought me to Heaven. The next time I branched out, I picked up THAT Cubano. THAT CUBANO! I literally saw and walked among the angles while eating THAT Cubano. More...

It was my first time eating at Serendipity and I am a believer in their food! Any food truck that has elk burgers, truffle fries, and a cubano on their menu, I am a fan of. I went to Serendipity today, while they were parked out near Riley and IU and it was an amazing experience! Any food truck you see with a line is always a great choice! I ordered the Cubano and it was the right choice. The wait time was impressive. From ordering to having my name called, was between 4 and 5 minutes. I was super impressed by the quality of the sandwich. A thick cut of roasted pork, great gooey cheese, surrounded by ham, mustard and pickles. The rice and beans it was served with was also delicious, with a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese. A colleague of mine ordered the truffle fries and those were life changing. Crispy, fragrant, and everything you want in a french fry! If you see Serendipity rolling around town, follow the truck and order lots of food and share with friends! More...

As a food truck skeptic, a 5-star review from me is notable. Serendipity Catering has a fantastically unique menu and fresh ingredients served by friendly, cheerful employees. I loved my split order of one elk burger and 1 chicken molé taco with a side of fries rather than the rice and beans. Everything was made fresh to order. The fries were top-notch, with exactly the combination of grease, salt, and caramelization that I like. Of the two entrees, I preferred the elk burger, which had delicious seasonings reminiscent of gyros and a nice peppadew sauce. The molé taco was nice, though less remarkable. It's hard to make an excellent molé, but I hope they keep tweaking that recipe until it's perfect. I highly recommend Serendipity food truck for fresh, innovative cuisine worthy of a critically acclaimed restaurant. Best $12 lunch I've had in a long time! More...

At a local gathering of food trucks this morning, I split an order from Serendipity Mobile Catering with a friend.  She ordered the "NorthEast" which is two crab cake minis with roma tomato, red onion, romaine lettuce, and topped with a roasted red pepper aioli on toasted gonella buns.  The sandwich should have been called a "slider" because there was enough aioli to cause the ingredients to slide to the side while being carried to our seats.  All kidding aside, the flavors worked really well together.  The crab cake was moist, though I have had some elsewhere that the crab was more prominent in flavor.  Still, because the flavors balanced so well, I found the sandwich quite tasty!Review #85 More...

Had the Northwest elk slider, it was superb! The meat was a firm grind, very easy to chew, and they even cooked it to the temperature I requested! The pepper sauce was almost the consistency of ketchup, very very nice. Fries were noticeably hand cut, very good potato flavor. A little greasy, but they are french fries. Service was great, very friendly. They gave me 4 ketchup packets and I didn't need to request them. Napkins were also provided. I have very high standards when it comes to food trucks. Consider them met. More...

First time having food truck fare by the Statehouse. The crab cake minis are delicious. The red pepper aioli was the perfect compliment to the crab, I scrapped the raw onion off though. The hand cut fries were a little disappointing (we ordered them without the truffle oil) they were tepid when we got them. I think they might prepare large batches at a time and they sit under a warmer too long. I would definitely try the truck again though. Again, LOVED the Crab Cakes! More...

This place haunts me.  Two years ago, I ate the best Cuban sandwich of my life, coming off the back of a GenCon food truck.  For those two years, I could not remember the place where I'd gotten it from.  I roamed aimless, mindless, from restaurant to restaurant, hoping to find that crispy, delectable combination of bread, cheese, and pig.  That beautiful marriage of pickle and mustard.  Hope fled.  Despair reigned.  I resigned myself to never finding it again.  It was here the whole time.  Serendipity has the greatest Cuban sandwich of my life.  And my yearly trip to GenCon will never be the same again.Go here.  Get the Cuban (and the truffle fries!).  Find faith in a deity that knows how tasty pork can be.  Eat and know how good a sammich can really be.  This is not hyperbole. I am OBSESSED with their "Midwest" grilled cheese.  It's super grown up in the most delicious way.  It's different every time, because they craft the recipe based on what sort of stuff is in season.  This week, my grilled cheese had peaches and gouda on it!  It was a drool-worthy combination.  If you're going to get fries (and you should), make sure you spend the extra $1 to "truffle up" those potatoes!  Truffle fries are like crack.  You'll be addicted from the first bite and beg for more.Oh, and there's "always money in the banana stand."  Check out their cool tip jar, which is decorated to look like the banana stand from Arrested Development.  I don't often tip at food trucks, but that little banana stand is just too darn cute!  It always earns at least a buck from my wallet.  They deserve it.  The service is friendly and as fast as possible given the culinary creations they are making ON A TRUCK! Um, some other awesome things...love the cuban sandwich, love the elk burger sliders, and the mini crab cakes are insanely good.  I've never tried the tacos, but I'm sure they're awesome as well.
