I went here on a recommendation of a friend who raves about it. The food was absolutely delicious! Hats off to the chef. Complimentary herbed flatbread with a sun-dried tomato hummus butter started my palate craving for more. If this was just the first.. the anticipation for my meal was great. The pumpkin soup with the best I've had in over 15 years. Not only is the food delicious but the presentation is wonderful. Add great service by Paulie and you got yourself a hit. Enjoyed a fantastic dinner last night. Ordered the Chicken w/ white wine and mushroom, outstanding ! Hubby ordered the Barramundi fish, pecan crusted with a raspberry sauce. Perfect. Stephen, our bartender, suggested both. Great wine and the dessert, a flourless chocolate torte. So the food is really good. Service is okay. However, they have a very competitive happy hour... if you can get a drink. I really hate inviting ppl here then have to order drinks right as you get one. Luckily our server got the hint and helped us out. The last guy didn't. Best quesadilla we ever had.. wow. My meal was very good. I had grilled salmon on a bed of pimento cheese grits and asparagus. I'd never heard of pimento cheese grits. Tasty! Unfortunately, our visit was marred by bad service. Drinks were not refilled timely and it took 15 minutes, or more, to finally get our check when ready to leave. The hostess actually had to intervene to get us the check. I expect better when going out and this makes me not want to return. I don't want to ding the restaurant too badly over it since this is my only visit and perhaps an anomaly.
