Words can’t explain the flavors I encountered that rainy day after work, the food was perfect to say the least. The finger potatoes were soft with a soft crisps and seasoned with herbs. The chicken sandwich stole the show with that kick of a sauce. While I tasted the food I peeped and saw my significant other watching me I asked would he like any, I was thrilled he declined because I honestly didn’t want to share. Well, that was delicious!! Enjoyed our first Sazón DC meal and it will certainly not be our last. The food was fresh~ our carne asada was perfectly cooked and seasoned! we loved our meal last night! Ceviche Tico style was perfectly seasoned with the right amount of heat, the salmon cake salad was the ideal summer meal, and the sample of mango mousse Diego included was so fresh and perfectly tart and sweet. Our first meal from Sazón DC was outstanding! Every element was prepared and presented with high attention to detail and authenticity. We ordered the Carme Asada, that came with rice and black beans, a side of a delicious cabbage salad and the most scrumptious Arroz con Leche (rice pudding). This was a Tuesday item and it made our evening feel like a weekend or a celebration. We enjoyed are meal of Indian Food. It was delicious. There was a large quantity to have leftovers which we enjoyed the next day. There were little edible flowers included. Just that little extra touch made it seem like we were at a restaurant. How wonderful to have restaurant quality food while we are staying socially distant. I highly recommend ordering. What’s your signature dish?
Pescado caribeño. Beautiful Red snapper gently cooked in caribbean spices and coconut milk with a hint of tamarind.
This was the last meal I had with my mother at the Beach in Costa Rica before she passed away. It holds a special place in my heart
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I listen to their needs and desires. I want to know what makes them smiles and what can I do help them create new memories.
What do you love most about your job?
To see people smile while taking the first bite of their meals
What inspired you to start your own business?
Due to the world pandemic we were layoff. As a former Military Member I was taught not to give up and there is always a way to accomplish success.
I became gluten intolerante and I had to learn how to cook all my recipes gluten free.
