What kind of accounting services do you provide?
We enter the client's monthly transactions into Quickbooks so that the client can review their financial statements, give their books to their accountant for tax preparation or other needs.
Enter all payroll transactions, checks, deposits, credit card transactions.
We balance the bank statements and review the financial statements to ensure they are correct. We will make any correcting entries that are required.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
When you hire a competent experienced accountant you can be assured that entries that need to end up on the balance sheet such as equipment purchases, owner draw, bank loans and loan payments get recorded correctly.
This also assures that the work doesn't just get thrown together in a slam dunk style.
What do you love most about your job?
Nothing makes me happier than getting the stress off of a client's back and also seeing the books getting balanced.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was looking for the ability to work on the kind of work I chose, working with many different clients from all sorts of companies and interests.
This also gives me the flexibility to take time off for travel or other things as I enjoy.
