Angel was fabulous - he gave an excellent scalp massage and had a nice method to his craft. I have curly hair and he clearly knew what he was doing with layers and blending. He also spent time on styling and I left with gorgeous looking hair that was completely dry (I've had previous experiences where time has run out resulting in me leaving with damp hair).  This is one of the best haircuts I've had in years. Melanie is the best, hands down. I'm usually really picky about my hair and have really flat, fine Asian hair. Most stylist try to add volume by thinning out my hair completely, but Melanie's technique is amazing. After every haircut, she leaves my hair fresh, light, and with lots of volume while keeping the thickness of my hair.Melanie is also such a sweetheart and she makes my hair appointments always so enjoyable. I came in for a much-needed color correction. I'm usually blonde but my color was gross and orange/brassy and the roots were very grown out. Cori spent hours and went above and beyond to make my hair look unrecognizable (in a good way). She also gave me the exact cut I was imagining. I always have an amazing experience at Salon Revel! I have gotten my hair cut twice here, once by Angel and once by Melanie, and I recently got highlights done by Melanie. All three experiences were top notch! Everyone who works here is so nice and welcoming and they really take the time to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. Beautiful place and kind people. Very hospitable. I get my haircuts with Julia and she is one of the nicest people I know and she has so much attention to detail. I am always supremely happy with all of my haircuts and have not considered letting anyone but her do my hair. Even my boyfriend up in Portland, OR wishes he could do his haircuts with her. Melanie from Salon Revel is amazing! She is an amazing stylist and always has great ideas for me if I’m not too sure what I want. She most recently did balayage for me and I can’t tell you how many compliments I received! The color was perfect and exactly what I wanted. In the past she has cut my hair and I was extremely happy because I wasn’t feeling too good about myself. My hair felt healthy and full! I also want to compliment Angel- he’s amazing and has blown out my hair and it looked amazing. Again, I received tons of compliments! Salon Revel gets 5 stars from me! Omg!!! Let me start with saying, how friendly , knowledgeable and inviting Julia is!!!! The first time, I came in to the salon, she made me feel super welcomed and comfortable. Right off the bat, I felt that I was in the right hands!!! I didn't know what I really wanted or needed in terms of color or haircut. She suggested new color and cut, that would compliment my face features and my skin color. Like a true stylist!!!!! She truly does have a key eye on hair styling. This was pretty much my first time EVER getting my hair cut in a salon, and I must say I LOVED it! Gina (brand new to the salon, so it almost seemed like destiny that she would cut my hair) was awesome! She was so nice and easy to talk to.
