Everything was delicious on the day of our wedding thanks to RSVP catering!! Abbey was our main coordinator for the food/beverages for our wedding day, and she was extremely organized and very responsive to our many emails. The appetizers were beyond delicious and we also were able to coordinate our favorite bourbon into our his/hers cocktails thanks to Abbey's efforts! And she organized a second tasting for the "hers" drinks to make sure they were absolutely perfect!! All their wait staff was beyond professional on the day of as well!

RSVP catering provided the food for our wedding. We had tried three other vendoos for food and finally decided on this vendor. RSVP topped the list after we got an opportunity to take home some of their food. We had a few select appetizers (chicken skewers, gazpacho), roasted chicken, salad with champagne vinaigrette (delicious!), shrimp, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese (so creamy!). If you think mac and cheese is boring, just try RSVP's version and you will change your mind! Our guests loved the food, they went back for seconds and there was nearly none left of the main dishes. The staff from RSVP had already worked with our venue and there were no issues as far as we could tell. We went with a buffet option and this worked out quite well vs. doing plating, guests got their fill. We highly suggest this vendor if you're trying to figure out a caterer. Their price was mid-range and their food was delicious, some of the guests are still talking about it. We tried a few other pretentious caterers with fancy puree's and under dressed salads, this caterer put the fancy in the right places and kept the main dishes rich and flavorful. Can't ask for more! RSVP Catering’s entire team, and especially Amanda Bauer, our main liaison, was wonderful to work with on our recent wedding in April 2019. RSVP invited us to a tasting of their new seasonal additions to their menu before we actually booked them as our caterer, then offered us multiple drafts of menu selections, as well as a personalized tasting of menu choices to help us narrow down our wedding menu. The constant and detailed communication with Amanda and her team throughout the planning process was very helpful and we appreciated their recommendations and guidance on set up, event flow, and popular menu and bar choices. We cannot recommend this caterer enough. RSVP was amazing from the day we signed the contract until the day of the wedding. We did both a group tasting and a private tasting of their food and it was DELICIOUS each time. Our group tasting included 25 couples, and was so organized. Despite the countless events they cater every day, we felt like our wedding was the only event happening that day. We worked with Elizabeth who was awesome. She was very organized and was able to talk to me about our menu/event at the drop of a hat, despite all the other events she had going on. She remembered ideas we discussed months prior that I had forgotten about and was able to customize our event to our liking. I am gluten-free, and she was able to recommend several gluten free items for the menu, and the guests never even had a clue! Our guests LOVED the food. We're still getting messages about how delicious the meal was, one guest even said that the brisket we had was the best he's ever tasted. They even had a special kids meal option, which the parents greatly appreciated. And the service! We enjoyed our experience working with RSVP from start to finish. They had such creative and gorgeous menu options, but without making the common mistake of sacrificing flavor for looks. They were also very helpful in adjusting to meet our budget needs, while also ensuring a fabulous selection.

They also handled all our rentals, which made that process simple and straightforward, so we had one point of contact for all food, drink, and rental decisions.

Casey and RSVP did such a great job of taking our abstract ideas and putting them into action, at a more reasonable cost than most of the other caterers we spoke to. The suggestion of taco carts was awesome; our guests loved them! And the stations worked really well too. Several guests noted that the food was much better than typical wedding fare. Beyond that, Casey was really responsive and a lot of fun to work with. The evening was executed smoothly with zero problems; all the staff knew what they were doing and they managed everything really well. We had a specific menu in mind for our wedding, as we planned an Oktoberfest reception and wanted to include traditional dishes. I spoke with several caterers by phone and met with a few in person, but RSVP stood out from the beginning because Abbey listened to our thoughts about the theme and menu and incorporated our ideas into the initial proposal and subsequent tastings. In the end the food turned out great and we got tons of compliments about the spatzle, potato salad, sausages and pretzel bites. RSVP Catering absolutely knocked it out of the park for our wedding! Martha and Moriah were wonderful to work with from start to finish. They helped craft a custom menu to our event, and the result was an exact reflection of what we wanted. We wanted our menu items to nod towards some of our favorite cities, and they developed a few new recipes in order to make it happen for us. All of our guests keep telling us how good the food was! We worked with Abbey from the very start. Abbey was SO responsive and helpful. It was great feeling like I didn't need to frequently check in on things.

Before we booked with RSVP, we went to one of their group tastings. We got to sample several h'orderves, a meal, and dessert. Many of the h'orderves we ended up using on our own menu.

We worked with Abbey and we felt like we got both a catering company and an event planner in one! She was incredibly responsive and helpful in the process of building our menu and planning our wedding. We had an idea of what we wanted to serve, but RSVP had so many amazing options, and was incredibly accommodating that our menu continued to evolve but within the budget.

The food was amazing, and they didn't skimp on cocktail hour, there was a continuous flow of food. Entrees were unique and delicious - every plate was clean by the end of the meal! The staff was very well organized and attentive, quickly answering questions about dietary restrictions, and keeping glasses full. We were also able to get our cake from RSVP and they had so many flavor options it was hard to decide - we actually ended up doing a small cake and mini desserts because the bakery was so impressive.

RSVP went above and beyond putting together to-go boxes of the mini-desserts for our officiant (it was his birthday) and for a couple that came in from out of town but had to miss the reception due to work commitments. We even had boxed cake and mini desserts ready and waiting in our getaway car! RSVP had a great selection of linens, base plates and China that brought the whole reception together.

RSVP really gave us a gourmet and custom experience at a price much lower than many of the other catering companies we got quotes from. If we could, we'd dine with RSVP every day. Thank you RSVP and Abbey especially for making our event so memorable! More...

Thank you RSVP! For our fusion wedding, I asked for a chicken tikka dish, at first they weren't sure how to present it since it was a plated dinner. . but they came through! My wedding guests were all raving about the food! To be honest, Abbey was my first contact with the company, from emailing with her to finally meeting her in person sealed the deal for me. She was SO accommodating, patient, and EXTREMELY kind and super EASY to work with. I was planning this wedding from 6.5 hours away and Abbey was completely understanding. My fiance and I used RSVP Catering for cocktail hour and dinner at our reception at President Lincoln's Cottage about 10 days ago and we can't begin to say enough wonderful things about the food, drinks, and about our point of contact, Casey.
The food was just amazing. From our initial tasting, all the way through to the lo mein that we gave our as a late night snack, the food on our wedding day was delicious. I know that often, tastings don't reflect what is actually served at the wedding (I totally understand it's hard to make consistently good food for 100+ people), but that was honestly not the case here. We were very lucky have RSVP work with us on each aspect of our passed hors d'oeuvres, bar setup, salads, mains, breads, ice cream bar, and then the late night snack (which we decided we wanted pretty last minute!). In particular, our guests raved about the pomegranate margarita, the short ribs and the fish they had for dinner, and the wonderful variety of ice cream!
We also got all of our rentals through RSVP (tables, chairs, linens, etc). They were wonderfully patient with us as we asked for everything to be priced out as we tried to get the best deal that we could for what we wanted. They were also incredibly accommodating of our request to do long tables vs round tables as though it fit better in my "vision, " thought it was a little challenging fitting everything under our tent.
On the wonderful, amazing, ever accommodating Casey, we really lucked out. Since over a year ago when we met her, right up until our wedding day, she was terrific and we honestly couldn't have felt any better taken care of (important when you have so many other things going on leading up to and the day of your wedding!). My finace and I don't miss a lot about the wedding planning process, but the main one is that we don't get to talk to Casey anymore!

Working with Abbey was just amazing. My guests continued to tell me how amazing everything was and how much they loved the food. They do much more than just the food. From picking out the perfect chairs, tablecloths and setting up all my display tables and bar. Abbey coordinated a significant amount of my event. She was so responsive to my emails and paid very close attention to detail to bring my vision to life. I will miss her lol! The servers were attentive, polite and looked very well dressed. We used RSVP catering for our wedding at Arena Stage in DC. Our coordinator was Casey Gardella, who was professional and prompt in returning all of our emails. RSVP Catering was beyond helpful. We didn't have much decorations; it was mostly limited to pretty simple ceterpieces. Our wedding planner wanted us to hire a decorator, but that would have cost us thousands. I asked Casey if RSVP would just set the centerpieces (vases) out on the tables, and she said they could even put out more elaborate pieces if we gave them a picture of what we wanted them to look like. A friend of ours ultimately ended up setting up the centerpieces, but I thought it was really nice of RSVP to offer! They were also very accomodating with desserts. We brought in some inexpensive Costco sheet cakes and they plated things up very nicely.

For linens/plates/chairs...honestly, we didn't care at all. We went with the standard settings. Everything looked lovely. Our colors were pink and green, and I was a little worried things would look garish with pink/green tablecloths, but it all turned out bright and cheery--just what we were going for.

Food: I liked the hors d'oeuvres best, honestly. The crab cakes were amazing. I think we could have skipped the cheese plate. The beef was good but a little on the small side; I think the best value was the chicken. We chose a quinoa cake as our vegetarian option, and it was delicious! RSVP also provided Kosher meals (but not hors d'oevres). Our guests that keep kosher were very happy!

Regarding bar service, I've had multiple people tell me it was the best service they've ever seen at a wedding. My biggest complaint was that they did such a good job of refilling people's drinks that hardly anyone went up to the actual bar, which made them miss the dessert table! Not much of a complaint!

I doubt that I will ever need the services of a large scale caterer again, but I wouldn't hestitate to hire RSVP in the future. They were great! More...

Our experience with RSVP was great! Our main point of contact was Casey, and she was incredibly responsive, friendly, helpful and a pleasure to work with. And of course most importantly, the food was amazing! I really felt like it went above and beyond typical wedding food - instead, the meals looked and tasted more like something you would eat in a restaurant. And the hors d'oeuvres were amazing - the perfect combination of casual/whimsical and delicious and classic. The team was incredibly accommodating of some food allergies we needed to be mindful of, and they created an amazing dairy-free cake and made nut-free accommodations to the dishes we wanted on our menu. RSVP was amazing from the start. I sent 10 quote requests for caterers. RSVP was quick to respond and tweaked my quote if I wanted changes or had questions. My husband and I went to 4 different tastings for our caterer. It was down to RSVP and another company, but I felt so much more comfortable with RSVP. They were industry savvy and I just knew I could trust them.

My husband and I's schedule never synced with RSVPs open house, so RSVP let us come to a one-on-one session before coming to their open house. We meet with Casey and she is THE BEST!!! SUPER responsive to e-mails and ALWAYS had a smile on her face. WE LOVE CASEY!

At the wedding, we left some decorations and some of those decorations were the table numbers. My mom mentioned this to Casey at RSVP, and she told the venue and had the venue print us off table numbers 45 mins before the ceremony started. During dinner, Casey was making sure the bridal party and our parents were well taken care of. She bent over backwards to make sure everything was running smoothly.

Besides gushing over Casey, the food was SO GOOD! Usually wedding food is average at best, but man I wish I could order food from them regularly!!! The staff were great and by far, RSVP was the best vendor we hired!!! More...

As "foodies" we are so glad that we chose RSVP catering for our wedding! Our guests still comment about how fabulous the food was at our wedding. RSVP was one of the six caterers our venue allowed for weddings, and we are so happy to have had them cater our wedding! Our guests are still raving about the food, and some have even said it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Maura Ward was our event manager, and she was a wonderful resource during the planning process, always calm, helpful, organized and willing to answer all of my questions. I can't say enough wonderful things about RSVP Catering. They made every part of our wedding smooth and easy with their organization and communication. They took care of our guests with dietary restrictions like gluten allergies, they made special plates for those with mobility issues, and made a to-go box for our friend observing Ramadan. Best of all, they ensured we had time to eat by bringing us hors d'oeuvres and cocktails after the ceremony, and by serving us dinner at our sweetheart table so we didn't get stuck in the buffet line. The food for our wedding from RSVP Catering was phenomenal. We choose to offer stations, and our guests raved about how good the food was and how many delicious and creative options there were to eat. Handling allergies and special requests, RSVP was extremely professional. We did have a bit of difficulty confirming information with RSVP staff before the event and we also felt that the passed hors d'oeuvres at the event were a bit skimpy (not really enough to go around, despite us having ordered 5 different passed options), but all around the food was delicious!
