Enrollment for 2022-2023 school years in very non-transparent and very frustrating. Kids are participating in million other activities and scheduling is already tough. RSM makes it even harder by not sharing schedules besides one that is recommended and creating unnecessarily stress with “fist come first serve - we cannot guarantee placement” policy. Customer service definitely has a Russian flair to it, as my email and calls did not lead to productive results yet. More...

In this school they want kids to attend so-called "war lessons" and teach russian propaganda. I also have some doubts on their math abilities, as CEO writes "three millions" as "3,00,000".

They make the following assertion on their homepage: "We stand with the Ukrainian people against Putin, his regime, and the Russian military invasion of Ukraine. " And yet, founder Inessa Rifkin sent out a message stating the following: "Ukraine had a choice of surrender peacefully with min human casualties and min property loss to Putin. President Zelensky made a choice to fight back." If you want pro Putin hypocrites teaching your children, by all means send them here. Otherwise, look elsewhere. More...

RSM is a sad money making scheme that preys on parents and kids alike by giving them partial information and keeping them in the fold of costly repetitive classes. Marina, the Plano center principal, is a case in point. She does not disclose any syllabus information without paying fees. In our case, we paid trusting their process and had to meet with her personally to see their curriculum. After seeing it, we decided it does not make sense to follow through. And opted for a withdrawal and did not attend a single class. Instead to refunding our full money, which is what we were owed per the center staff Volga, Marina decided to take $80 to herself as admin charge / processing fees etc. we had not taken a single class with them. It’s a fraudulent scheme run by a clever and scheming lady. Please beware and stay away. UPDATE 2/17: Thanks for looking at my review. It is sad that even though a kid has not taken a single class or any material from you, you will still charge the family $80 for deciding to pay you up front. Just confirms the impression of your place that I got in meeting with Ms Marina - that you are out there to scheme and fool people. More...

Was trying to sign up for this school, but the school makes you attend a mandatory orientation. Was online for 30 minutes waiting for the principal to show up, but she never showed up. Disappointed.

We had terrible experience with RSM "online" branch. 4th grade Advanced level is purely a repetition of 3rd grade Advanced level content. The teacher first told the kids they are reviewing in the first few weeks. In week 3 and 4, the content was still identical. I then reached out to the office about the syllabus and got a rude reply "We do not share our curriculum, and since the curriculum for the 4th grade is not linear, I am not able to share the chapter topics". They also refused to change my kid to a different level (I tested my kid with class work before the class and he mastered everything). They said they can give a re-evaluation, but threatened that it will be a "a traumatic experience" for my kid. No one would let their kid through a "traumatic experience" and thus I requested for a refund. They also refused to do so. They charged $1280 (20 lessons) + registration fee up front, and dragged past the 6 weeks "deadline" (claimed by them) for a refund (by keeping telling me the syllabus would be different; or not replying my email until the 6th lesson ended). Be aware of this "online" branch. More...

Poor quality, total parents / teachers disconnect. Programs taught not in unison with school programs - e.g. teaching 5th year old RSM equals 8 year old middle school program - and they promising logic logic. . and then only teaching algebra formulas over and over again who you will need only wishing to go for high math. Absolutely not worth the tuition. Beware of Yulia Bubnova promising what is not being delivered and no educational / professional teachers background is introduced to parents. More...

Extremely disappointed. It was highly recommended but the commute was too far. Due to the pandemic we were able to join remotely. Terrible communication with the branch principle. Repetitive and not engaging. After now seeing their Methodology I totally disagree that this is the right approach and will be looking elsewhere. But the communication and support is the major turn off! More...

My son was very reluctant signing up for extra work. He was hooked after first session and loving it so much he is willing to get up 6:30 am on Saturdays to attend (he is taking online class and we are in a different time zone). His face lights up and he stays engaged the entire time. This is a great resource. More...
