Nice venue. I booked 2 events there for this spring. **UPDATED Post Event: I can say our event was a huge success! Staff was flexible and openly communicated with me throughout the whole process. New event coordinator Mrs. Artis is very professional I love how she helped me with everything to plan my event. She did and all inclusive package for me that included venue, catering, dj ,bartender, etc that was very affordable and reasonable. I found the venue from an ad that she posted on facebook . I live 5 min from the venue and did not event know the venue was open for business I am glad that I saw the ad and contacted Mrs. Artis. I cant wait to follow up and post pictures of my event. Mrs Artis knows the business and her help , its makes things a lot less stress full for the client. She offered me a one stop shop and i am glad... I had a party last Friday and Mrs. Glenda, Rebecca and the staff out did themeselves. The decerations and the whole setup was just beautiful. When I got there to set up our food I was just blown away. I just want to thank them so much for making our vision for our mom surprise party a dream come true. Ms Glenda and Ms Rebecca are WONDERFUL!!!!!! I held my St Patrick’s Day wedding at LHG and it was ABSOLUTELY memorable. The facility is a hidden gem. On the day of my ceremony, the venue was breathtaking. It was spectacular garden ceremony covered in ivory with my sand ceremony in a covered gazebo. The cocktail hour took place on the patio, outside, while my actual reception happened inside, family style. The decorations (gold and green) were beyond my expectations. The food was extremely good, and the grooms cake and wedding cake flavor were wonderful. This is the nicest garden venue in South Dekalb WITHOUT QUESTION. Call Ms Glenda ASAP! More...

@Ms.grant this statement is false. The wedding was to start at 4. Everything was right on time. The wedding planner Ms Sabrina did a beautiful job with the 6 days she got the wedding. As for being told that no one was to go inside to sit or use the bathroom was foolishness and to my knowledge Ms Glenda told the guests that. The bride did not give such instructions. Ms Glenda got the wedding to plan 7 months ahead and did nothing but take payment and ignored our calls. Ms Sabrina came in and save the day. She is professional and an amazing person she made the day beautiful and amazing in 6 days. Ms Glenda i would never recommend dealing with her but if you get Ms Sabrina just know you're in GREAT HANDS. And there was no grant on our guest list so this imposter made a false statement. Recently, I was invited to one of my church members wedding that was held here. THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN BEAUTY that really shocked me! I pass that Covington Highway area ALL of the time and I never paid it any attention!When I arrived I really appreciated the close onsite parking. The venue security officers greeted us with a smile and as I walked the grounds to get to the garden I noticed that the lawn was manicured and well kept. The decorations were absolutely amazing! They were classy elegant and well thought of. Now, Mind you... I am truly a person of TIME! The invitation said that the wedding would start at 3:00 pm. We arrived at the venue at 2:40 pm. The wedding was to be held in the Garden area. It was a pretty day BUT 90 degrees!!!!!! OMG!!! It was HOT!!People have arrived. Time have passed and it is NOW 3:50 pm And the Bride is NOWHERE to be found! THE GROOM and the wedding party is on the lawn.....STILL taking pictures and we are BAKING! Just about WELL DONE! So at this point I SEE MANY OF THE GUEST GETTING UP AND LEAVING! I get up to go in the inside to use the restroom and one of the ladies in the wedding told me. "I'm sorry Ma`am. The Bride do not want anyone in here just yet. LUCKILY, I see the Mother of the Groom who is also a church member and she let me in. Once again. The place and decorations were flawless and the restrooms were clean and smelled great. Needless to say we stayed in the inside with other church members and were FINALLY given a MINIATURE BOTTLE of water. It is NOW 4:10 pm and the wedding party and Groom is now walking in the door from taking pictures! as we walked back to the Garden I noticed that many of the people that we had left out there were NOW gone. Well, we decided to stay until the end. Even though the Bride took FOREVER to come out (WHICH WAS VERY INCONSIDERATE) and she REALLY needed help with her planning. Other than that. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT! EVERY TIME I THINK ABOUT THE FOOD......I get Hungry ALL over again! I met Mrs. Glenda and the staff while getting food and they were fun and showed everybody True Down Home Hospitality!! Please look forward to us having an event there real soon! More...

The venue was fabulous. Celebrated my 60th birthday/charity event. Maxine did an amazing job coordinating with my event planner LadyT LaToya Bullard. DJ ScoobyATL was Spot On.
