Let me start by saying this: my fiance and I were not overly excited about the engagement photos. He hates being photographed and I feel that I am extremely un-photogenic. I had only met Tracy when we decided to enlist RHK Images for our engagement and wedding photography needs, but she made me feel comfortable and their work (and recommendations by 2 friends) speaks for itself. Tracy kept in touch and answered all my questions! They are quick to respond and even offered advice when asked about clothing choices! Yes, I'm an indecisive bride. She even eased my fears of potential inclement weather on our engagement photo date.Working with both Tracy and Kyle during our engagement shoot was such a surprising pleasure. They kept us laughing, didn't make us feel overly posed, and kept everything natural. They allowed us to suggest poses and nix ones that we didn't feel comfortable with. They were great with choosing a location, which we changed the week of the shoot! Our photos came out looking natural and all my friends and family have expressed how Tracy and Kyle captured our true love through their photography! RKH Images has exceeded our expectations in a photographer. We have 4 children and for the 3 oldest we have been using the same local photographer for our senior pictures. After following RKH Images via Facebook these last couple of years, we were so impressed with their diverse types of photography, as well as the variety of poses they come up with, we decided to book them instead. We were very nervous the day of the shoot because it had been storming all day long and it wasn't looking very promising for an outside shoot at the Mill City Ruins, but we were reassured that there was an alternate indoor plan IF the weather didn't cooperate once shooting began. As we were just about to start, the sun came out and the sky was the most stunning shade of blue that we knew these photos were going to be special. The color, clarity, and attention to detail, were what impressed us most about this husband and wife team. They were fun to work with, had great ideas and took so many shots. There honestly wasn't a shot that we didn't absolutely love. RKH Images vastly surpassed our expectations for our youngest daughters senior photos. Highly recommend!!!! We couldn't be more pleased with RKH Images. Their photography is different than the others we found when looking for photographers. It's fantastic. They don't blow out the blacks, they remove the hazing, and produce the correct colors. If you want clarity, they go above and beyond to deliver. Kyle even got on a crane to create a shot! They go to great lengths to give you exactly what you want and make the photos about you and your day. They enhance and bring to light the minor details missed with the naked eye. Their style reflects their ability to achieve details in low light conditions, this was important to our wedding. Kyle and Tracy are incredibly talented. I have worked with them in multiple capacities. They do event photography for the music festivals that I help organize every summer, they took my wedding photos, and most recently, they took newborn photos of my daughter. I have never been disappointed in any of their shots, and they work their butt off to get the perfect pictures YOU want. I can't tell you how many times I showed them something I saw on Pinterest, and they were able to recreate it, or even improve upon it. They are super flexible, and truly passionate about their work. One of the best decisions we made when planning was to use RKH Images to capture our wedding. I cannot say enough about how happy we are about that decision. They were both very professional and fun. They had had created a timeline ahead of time to make sure that the day went smoothly and also left in time for in case anything came up. When we chose a photographer for our wedding, I was concerned about my husband, as he really doesn’t like having his photo taken. We did our engagement photos with Kyle and Tracy and they made him so comfortable. I was already eager to get photos taken, but my husband was not and to see that someone was able to get not only good photos of him, but to get him excited about it, was downright incredible. Go with them and you will be glad you did. Their consultations and communication leading up to the big day put us completely at ease knowing that we were going to get just what we wanted, and then some. Their experience shines through in the photos and creative shoot ideas, but just as importantly in how they handle things on the day itself. They are top notch professionals that know how to facilitate a great experience for you and your party throughout the day. LOVE RKH IMAGES!!! Kyle and Tracy were very fun and well rounded people who also had enough experience and talent to keep me calm. I was a very anxious and nervous bride, driving everyone around me crazy. One thing I didn’t have to worry about was our photography because whenever I had a question, which was very often, I knew that Tracy would have the answer instantly. I emailed her a lot throughout the year planning with a variety of questions regarding weather, colors, timelines, and so much more. She was very patient with me and explained everything so well. Working with Tracy and Kyle was the easiest part of planning my wedding! We loved having them both to shoot our engagement pics and our wedding. I wanted my wedding day to be perfect. I’m a very organized bride and I wanted my day to reflect that. My wedding photographer was very important to me and RKH Images did not disappoint. Not only did they deal with my many requests with grace and patience, they had suggestions to ensure everything went according to plan, kept in great communication with me throughout our fourteen month engagement, and helped keep us (and my mother) calm during the day. I would recommend them for so many reasons. First and foremost, they are professional. They keep in great communication, as I mentioned before. If I had any questions, I could rely on Tracy to email me back within minutes. That’s very helpful when planning a wedding. They are also a lot of fun to deal with. Kyle and Tracy are extremely motivated and passionate about their work. It’s not just about a job with them. It’s about their goal to document the feelings of the day and then immortalize them. We hired them on the spot, the first photographers with no doubt in our minds. THEY ARE THAT GOOD.. Our wedding was in January in Minnesota and we were hoping for a snowy wedding. However, the weather was very odd that month and it actually decided to rain that day, so we ended up with a very dreary day. Our photos turned out so good because of how Kyle and Tracy were able to adapt to the situation. They got great shots of us in the church, as well as some really fun photos outside. My wife and I loved working with RKH Images. They took care of our engagement photos and our wedding day and we were in love with all of our pictures. I would very much recommend getting an engagement session with them (it’s complimentary, so why not) because you get so much more comfortable before the wedding. And this is coming from someone who did not want to do the engagement session, but was talked into it by my better half.
