We are so lucky to have had Riviera Productions as our videographers on our wedding day. I was a very anxious bride and the very moment Jennie showed up in our hotel room and introduced herself, I immediately felt her positive energy and reassuring and calming presence. She had an amazing ability to be both present and engaging as well as was able to blend into the background and capture our most memorable moments between friends, family, loved ones, and myself and my husband. She and her assistant Raul did such a spectacular job documenting every moment of a day that went so quickly we didn’t even realize! So many of my wedding guests commented on how wonderful the videographers were, I cannot recommend their services enough!! We received the final product in an incredibly timely manner, and Jennie made sure to proactively communicate proactively the entire time she was editing with a timeline of when we could expect everything. She is so considerate, it is truly incredible. We watch the video over and over it is so beautiful and so personalized it took our breath away and continues to do so. We cannot stress enough how highly we would recommend booking Riviera Productions in order to capture the most magical moments of your entire life! If there was one word to describe Jennie Riviera, it would be amazing! She lived up to the expectations and beyond for my husband and I. From the first contact to our ongoing discussion, she is patient, kind and so full of energy. Jennie and her team captured the most amazing parts of our day and truly made us feel so special. Jennie is open to feedback, comments and so easy to work with. After some edits she created the perfect highlight video, i just can't stop smiling every time I watch it! Do NOT pass her services up! After being bogged down with wedding costs and planning (and my now-husband stressing out about finances because no matter how well you budget, there are always unforeseen costs once you get into the thick of it), I was set on not having a videographer, but my mom was adamant about having video of the ceremony. She found Jennie and booked her, and in hindsight (after receiving my video and highlight video), I only wish that I had requested her for the entire day instead of just the ceremony. She is so artistic and adds so many subtle details that your ceremony reflects the work of art it is. Not only is she an expert at what she does, her natural rapport with clients and photographers is a natural and stress-free environment on what can be a very anxiety ridden day. Professional, artistic, and very personable--please do your bridal/groom self a favor, don't second guess this because of fatigue and finances, and book her. It's worth it. More...

I contacted Riviera Productions in hopes of creating a promotional video for my newborn portrait studio. They were extremely professional in their correspondence, arrived early to the shoot and worked well with all the other vendors I had in my small space. Jennie was calm (totally required around my clients...newborn babies!) and gave me quite and concise directions throughout the shoot. Later was the hardest part for me...the audio voice over! Jennie helped me walk through my script and get the general idea down, but then encouraged me to just talk. This took time, and she was patient. Through her direction and patience and willingness to make my edits in post production, I ended up with the perfect promotional video for my studio and I'm already seeing an increase in requests just one week after posting it to my website! We tied the knot in April of this year up in Santa Barbara, and realized only a few weeks before our wedding that we wanted to have a video copy of everything that transpired on our big day.  Jennie and Heather were rock stars for us!  I'm so glad we did capture this because photos tell a beautiful story, but don't capture the full essence of the day.  Riviera was so great on our wedding day.  They were very good at communicating up front, and responding back to any questions, ideas or concerns in a timely manner.  On our wedding day, they were barely noticeable and easy to work with.  We came up with the idea to have a video booth, which also was awesome, as it gave a chance for our guests to 'leave a lasting, personal message' beyond all the hoopla, which we love.  The full video, highlight reel and video booth messages completely captured the beauty, the fun, the key moments, silliness, dancing and energy.  We're thankful to have had them there and the final product is fantastic.Thank you guys so much!  It truly is a priceless thing to have and well worth the investment.  These are the folks for you, if you have a video production need. My wife and I had our wedding videography with Riviera. Heather is very nice and professional. She talked with us on the details we want, including the style, music, and other details to be included into the video. On our wedding day, she showed up on time, and filmed the entire process of our ceremony. She even stayed longer than she was supposed to so that she can take more happy moments of the event. We are so glad that we hired Riviera Productions to film our wedding! Our photographer did an amazing job, but pictures can only go so far to capture the day. We are so grateful that we have everything captured on video by professionals who love what they do, and really know how to shoot weddings.

Jennie and Heather were stealthy, getting the best possible angles without getting in the way. They are both sweet, lovely people who bring a very positive energy to their work. This was very important to us. Our ceremony and reception were at a remote lake with only our closest friends and family there. We had such a great experience with Riviera Productions. Jennie and Heather recorded our wedding ceremony and Jennie stuck around for the rest of the evening to record the reception. We were so happy to work with Jennie. She is such a sweet individual; so nice and cheerful. It was a pleasure having her at our wedding. She was so sweet to offer to stay a few more minutes extra to get the cake cutting footage before she left. What I loved most about her was her smile that never left her face. And then of course, there was the video of our wedding. Beautiful! So raw and natural, no crazy editing or funky songs.
With our busy schedules, it took us a long time to get our music files and edit requests in order. Jennie was so patient and understanding through out this time. She incorporated songs that were meaningful to us. Edited the video paying close attention to our request, and at the end we are left with a lovely recording of our wedding that captured moments that we missed and reminds us of the great moments we created. Riviera Productions truly made all of the pieces of our wedding day come together. All of our vendors, our officiant, our wedding party, and of course our families and friends, were all fantastic contributors to our special day, but Rivera Productions was able to capture all of this on film! Of course, photographs are timeless, but having our wedding day on video is a decision we will never regret. Hearing our vows, seeing our first dance, seeing the truly happy (not "I'm taking a picture therefore I will smile") expressions on our guests' faces is priceless. Jennie and Heather from Riviera Productions not only captured all of these important moments and nuances, they also did so while being completely professional.  We barely noticed that they were there--which is perfect for a vidographer! I can not express how thankful I am to have had Riviera Productions capture my wedding day. Some might state that a photographer is all that's necessary but I wholeheartedly disagree. Photos can only capture so much. But to hear the music, hear the speeches, and watch the actions during the passing of time brought out so many emotions that I wouldn't trade it for anything.   Guests at my wedding will say it was a beautiful and stunning event. While I completely agree, there were so many things that took place behind the scenes ruining my special day until I saw my video. Watching the moments captured by Riviera Productions brought me to tears more than once. I saw the day in a completely different light and was able to enjoy the video much better than I enjoyed the experience that day. The songs, timing along with the moments they captured were so beautifully touching. While I don't wish my own experience for any bride, I don't want anyone to miss the love and beauty that is captured by Riviera Productions on their very special day.It was an absolute joy working with both Heather and Jennie. During the vows, our officiant decided to state the vows all in one breath instead of giving them to me in segments for my speaking portion which of course I screwed up. Heather was able to do some editing magic that saved that portion of the video making me feel so much better. For brides who are concerned of mishaps, well don't worry they will edit anything out which was wonderful. I am so impressed because without even asking them, they captured all the  details, the cake, the gifts, the tables, the flowers...everything. It just really took me back to that day but only it was better.I also asked they capture a message from my Grandmother who was miraculously able to survive to see this day occur. I can not tell you how much I laughed and cried watching her. This alone meant the world to me. I am so happy that we chose to have Heather and Jennie capture our special day as not only were they an absolute joy to work with, we now we have it to watch on anniversaries & share it with our children some day. Id say this is pretty priceless. Many who have seen the videos remark what a high quality production this was and how enjoyable it was to watch and I can't disagree. I just received the video from our daughter's wedding and could not be happier. Jennie and Heather were so unobtrusive during the filming, I wondered if they captured everything. They did. It's just beautiful to relive the day. Hearing the voices and music brings a completely new emotion to enjoying the memories. I'm a wedding photographer, and I often get asked by couple's if they "need" video. I've always answered that it's a different medium and that if they can do both, they should.  If I wasn't before, now I'm completely convinced that they can't be compared.Video is nothing like still photography and I couldn't say one is more important than the other. They both  hold equal importance for me in regard to my own daughter's wedding.
