Came here for lunch, what can I say the service was amazing and the food was just soo delicious, beyond my expecations. I ordered the Mexican Flag Shrimp, yum! The sauce was so flavorful but most importantly the shrimp was such good quality and fresh. It came with sauteed vegetables cooked perfectly al dente and seasoned great. Alone, and from out of town, staying at a hotel that was off the beaten path, I took a shuttle into the downtown area of Stamford, and ended up having an unforgettable meal. The salsa was fresh with a oerfect balanve of heat and cilantro, Caribbean lobster served with asperagus, a roasted 1inch thick slice of tomato speared w rosemary, and pico de gallo on the side not only was preseted beautifully, but was delicious. In a very unremarkable downtown, I happened upon an absolute treasure. A couple sitting by me also put waxed poetic over their guacamole with shrimp that was preoared tableside. What is this place good for? Drinking, dancing, outdoor seating, light dinner. It's a good first stop. Usually gets packed as well. You can hit up the Spanish resteraunts down the street after as they turn into clubs with very little effort.There is Mexican food, but it's not the best in Stamford. Very good drink specials.During the summer when they have concerts and festivals (Jazz Fest and Alive at Five), this is probably hands down the best place to sit.
